yeah it's a private institution. Banning smoking i can understand but the chewing tobacco to? That just doesn't seem right because the people using it aren't obnoxious about it.

I believe they are banning tobacco products because of how people dispose of it. Perhaps they are not directly attacking people who smoke or chew, but are just trying to keep the campus cleaner. Think about it.. when most people get to the end of their stog, what do they do? If they arent near an ashtray, they drop it on the ground and step out the lit part. Hell, even I do it. I am not gonna carry a burning cigarette with me until I find a place to put it away. It may light all the way, and burn my hand. In addition to this, smokers tend to spit a lot. I would assume that people who chew will also just spit their tobacco wherever they are at, and move on.

I may be just giving them the benefit of the doubt, but perhaps they are just trying to keep a clean and friendly environment on their campus.

I believe the only real option for you is to just bear with it until you have the means of supporting yourself. Not having your own car, however, is a big limitation for you to become self-sustaining. In order to get a job that can pay off all of your debts, you would want a car. That way, you wouldn't have to be relying on public transportation, which can limit your workable hours. Try buying a decent used car--nothing flashy, just a vehicle to get you from A to B. Go to school, and get your degrees. I really don't think there is much else to it. Just bear with it, and it will eventually be over. Good luck.

They aren't using the ones from 50 years ago though... The design has changed to accommodate today's conveniences. Also, the rifle models from 50 years ago were actually AR15's, which were different than M16's. The M16A4 is actually considered one of the most reliable rifles nowadays.

Now, I see that you are an idiot. The AK47's were faulty and had safety issues, and are now replaced with the AKM. All guns jam. All you have to do to unjam an M16 is mash the forward assist. Similarly, to unjam an AK, all you have to do is pull the charging bolt back and forth. It's simple, and is not a problem with guns.

Also AK-47s are more accurate and don't have shitty plastic parts like M16's.

AK's are known for their innacuracy, as M16's are known for precise accuracy. Are you just pulling this out of your ass? Also, AK's don't have plastic parts... They got wooden parts. (even better) And besides.

Barack Obama is causing big mistakes with the M16, and John McCain would have made the right choice to use the fucknig sexy AK-47 as the main gun of the US Army. I mean, are we still fighting WW2? We need a gun that works as cool as a German STG44 with Aperature sights.

When the fire selector switch is pointed at the 1 white bullet with a cross through it, it is on "safety," and you won't be able to pull the trigger
When it points to the single red bullet, you can shoot a sinlg bullet with the pull of the trigger. This is "semi-Auto"
When it points to the string of 5 bullets, it it on "fully-automatic" and can shoot continuously with as you hold the trigger down
