You may have noticed NG was down for a few minutes this morning, so down we didn't even have the maintenance animation up. This was because we were COMPLETELY DISCONNECTED FROM THE INTERNET. We were swapping bandwidth lines.

Until this morning, NG was connected to two 1gbps lines, each capped at 500mbps (1gbps total) with the ability to burst up to 2gbps and pay overage fees, which we did regularly.

As of today, NG is connected to a 10gbps line, capped at 5gbps.

To summarize, we have quintupled our bandwidth and are ready for big things in the future.

If you have Flash submissions here on NG and you haven't updated to 140x90 thumbnails yet, please do so! Our courageous icon mod team has tackled over 20,000 thumbnails but they need all the help and support they can get.
