In fact, I'm doing a presentation for a class about Kwak in two weeks :D Did you know the glass was invented by Pauwel Kwak. Back in the time, the coachmen weren't allowed to leave their coach, so Pauwel invented a glass that would fit into the wooden stand that would be built onto the coach. And voila! The coachmen were also able to enjoy a good beer while riding!

I bought a Kwak glass because I thought it was totally awesome, but had about half a year later Wal-Mart had similar glasses, I think I started the trend haha. Pretty sure if I was living in Belgium i'd be a raging alcoholic.

I live in Belgium and honestly, most of my friends and myself are kind of alcoholic. Because we always drink a lot of beer. Yes. Obviously.

Haha! About what you said with that store with 400 beers, that's not too exceptional here. In the nearest city there is a pub that works like that and has 600 beers. In Brussels, there is the Delirium Cafe, with over 2,000 beers to taste. That's the world record by the way. But the Delirium Cafe also presents foreign beers while the near pub doesn't. And the atmosphere is way more "beer" in the near one too. :D

I didn't. I was there with a friend, and the night was organized by some faggot student club. Last time, I wasn't allowed to participate in a "beer king" contest because I wasn't registered yet (even though I would have been the week after). I was allowed to watch, and I can say I'd easily have won the competition (there were only 8 losers participating).

So anyway, yesterday I went there with a friend and got into trouble with the guys from the student club, things got ugly and they "fought us out". But we were drunk enough (to get to the next pub) so it's okay.

It's a bar after all, the drinks are expensive, the sandwiches are really big and pretty good. We actually have the cheapest drinks in town as far as bars go.

Yesterday I got drunk for free! There was a party organised by some student club at some bar, and they actually MADE me drink beer and other alcoholic beverages. Delightful. They also noticed I drank a lot more and faster than them so after a while they weren't that enthusiastic anymore so I had to ASK for beer, but I still got it for free! Awesome...
