The government should supply money to charities based on their ability to help the needy. What religion they are should have no influence on the amount of money they are granted.

This said, I am for some reason entirely against the government paying any money to any 'faith-based initiatives.' I believe that the government should only give money to secular organizations that have no religious backing.
