I wished my dentist tuned his drill to 432 today... sadly he was not able to...
and all of that on a monday...
Sorry, just had to share my pain with the rest of the world...
The only thing which I wonder... is it even able to emulate the 432Hz with digital equipment as all source material has probably been sampled or emulated in 440Hz...?
If you take a VST like Edirol Orchestra for example, all the violins in the package are sampled on 440Hz, as the source is already ment to be that, I don't think it will make any difference to turn it into 432Hz, it only will alter your sound, but the original tones are still the same as they are recorded the first time...
Not enough coffee yet, but \i hope you catch the drift ;).

No mate its not placebo, its quite noticable and you can test it with volume, it really doesnt seem to matter how loud your music is on 432hz.
I think you're confused and talking about something completely different >___>
No, in fact i know very well what im talking about its just that since i am dutch i cant really explain it very well in english.
That is the best reason I ever heared on a sunday morning... send me a PM in dutch and I will translate it for you... or rather say nothing if you have nothing to say.
Ask the same question and received a reply from a friend who is really *into* sound orgins and stuff, I will trans it from dutch to english and hopefully it is going to be helpful.
Basicly (haven't tried it yet) you should be able to alter your finalized track with Audicity, gonna play around with it this weekend. Very intresting, wonder if I am going to hear a change in my own sounds.
Everyone thanks for the feedback :) this is a very intresting thing for all musicians.
Thanks for your reply, I will take a deep dive into this subject :).
It made lot of things way more clear for me.
That is why we have forums like this ;) To learn.
Strangely enough most site's about the article are in dutch, like we have got our own standards ;p.
Anyways, I warn you all, it is kinda *floating* info, lots of new age stuff how this subject is handled.
It seems that it is better for mind and spirit? And they mostly talk about Classical music.
I wonder what happens if you change a Death Metal track from 440Hz to 432Hz, regarding these articles the music should become *more wonderfull* wow, heavy stuff ;) Death Metal with Heavenly sounds ;p.
A few days ago I read an article about music in 432hz instead of the 440hz standard.
What is the big difference between these ranges? Is it true that your music sounds *more warm*?
It is such a weird story which I never heard of before. It seems that the 440Hz standard has been brought to life during WW2 and the standard before that used to be 432Hz. Even music instruments these days are made for the 440 standard.
I am confused ;) and would love to get some feedback from people who know more about this stuff.
Such a cool feature if only it would be a bit more *fair* to the tons of *other audio creators* on NG.
Not the first time I see this happening, but this time I just want to know the opinion of other users of NG.
Why does it happen OFTEN that an artist has got 2 or even 3 songs in a top 30 list, OR it is full of covers.
Wasn't the whole idea of the AP that we had to upload orignal music which people can use in their flash cartoons? And besides that, with TONS of audio creators over here, wouldnt it be more fair for others if the bot only can choose 1 song of 1 artist instead of a bunch?
To all Q-Dance Producers, Dj's and Hardstyle lovers out there!
(Please mods, there are ENOUGH HQ lovers here, and yes this is a 100% about music, and sharing of knowledge as we all love HeadHunterz and Scantraxx for what they do in the Hardstyle Scene)
Another Mysteryland this weekend which means another event of the year better known as Qdance.
As last year when they presented the deadly windmill, this year they have been inspired by Clowns.
Another great and unforgetable party. HeadHunterz seriously blown the roof of even if it was outdoors. Luna, Evil Activities, Showteck and much much more.
Rather check youtube for some fresh inspiration as I have heared tons of new records!
Rather check out youtube cause you have to see this in full motion ;)

Anyways, yesterday there was a MAJOR weather alert in Holland... and they claimed that it was going to be WORSE!!! Events where cancelled and shizz.. in the end... it was a plain boring normal thunderstorm... now people want to sue those weahter guys ;p.
In May 2006, Metal Gear series creator Hideo Kojima announced that a film adaptation of Metal Gear Solid was in development. The film was purported to be in English, said to be released some time in 2011.[18] Kojima also announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo later that month that he had negotiated a contract with a party in Hollywood to adapt the video game into a film.[19] Kojima also considered Alaska as the site of the film production, due to the game's setting in the state.[20]
David Hayter, the English voice actor for Solid Snake, had submitted his take for the movie but executives have passed on his script.[21] He has previously written the screenplay to X-Men and co-written X2, The Scorpion King and Watchmen. There has since been a petition web site started in the hope of getting David Hayter involved with the project.
Producer Michael DeLuca has expressed interest in having Equilibrium director Kurt Wimmer write the script for the movie. Later on Kurt Wimmer was opted to direct the movie adaptation.[22] However, Wimmer will not take part in the directing for the film. He was only approached to pitch a take on adapting the Metal Gear Solid franchise.[23] Konami's Aki Saito had commented that There Will Be Blood director Paul Thomas Anderson was interested,[24] but DeLuca dismissed the claim. According to an interview in Nuts Magazine actor Christian Bale is interested in playing Solid Snake in the film, [25] during an interview for Public Enemies, he stated that he has not been approached for the role, but is a fan of the games. I don't see the problem using a preset as a basic sound which you tweak/edit and merge with other sounds... always that *presets are evil* BS... without them, you would not have the slighest idea WHAT a synth is capable of...
Dude, fok the *don't use presets* thingie and do whatever you feel and please. It is all about the end result.
I only can say, you make my day.
Kids these days only can express themself in a forum so I don't feel offended at all. Your words do not hurt me, do not tell me anything and it only expresses your love for your country.. I am not going to argue in how things are written or reply to your reply...it is useless... you already have proven your point.
