If Nintendo truly dose decide to make a 9th generation gaming console and completely ditch it's 8th generation gaming console will likely bring about Nintendo's undoing.
Nintendo has only had a few minor hiccups recently, while Sega has had major fuck ups in the past and hasn't really gained major traction since.
Plus, Nintendo is sitting on 13.6 Billion dollars worth of assets. I certainly don't think that they'd have any issue obtaining Sega if they really felt like it.

Just as a professional tip here.. Asking for the assistance of a programmer (or a lot of things in general) and being vague about it throws up a lot of red flags.
If you want someone who's gonna work hard on a project, you need to take your request just as seriously as you need your programmer to be.

This is the number I've gotten and to be honest.. 10%-20% is nothing on what I pay. I'm fortunate that my insurance company was able to include me on all the nice benefits my grandmother has on her policy (policy is over 40 years old). So, to begin with I'm paying cheap ass rates for a 22 year old. 20% ontop of that wouldn't mean much to me.

My policy is older than half the people who work there. I realize that my rates my go up, but to be honest. They stole a LOT of shit and it'd be a good thousand dollars to get everything back to the way it was taking it to a shop. I'm ready to put up a fight if my rates go up too much.

hope that helps.
Already did that.
First thing I did was call the cops and let them handle it. I'm not naive enough to expect anyone to be caught or anything, but I certainly needed their crap on paper. Officer was nice, professional about everything.
I've been meticulous about noting everything down that I feel is related to the break in, that has been broken. To be honest, if you've never had your headunit stolen before. They leave a fucking mess of your car, and it really sucks ass to clean up.
It blows to go to your car on a Monday morning, heading to work, then looking in your car. Then you call your boss and say "Yeah, gonna be late, my car got robboed. Fuck"
I grew up on my barefeet. I can walk on all sorts of terrain and not have any problems with pain.
Be mindful, for those who have no gotten thick ass calluses on their heels and foot pads. Walking around on asphalt barefoot will leave blisters on your feet like no tomorrow.
Howdy everyone.
I'm wondering what other people on here have in terms of experience with those of us who have Auto Insurance.
You see, my car was recently broken in to and the dick hole who did it stole my stereo headunit. Along with that, being that I have a 2011 Honda Civic, they inevitably took my Climate Control/Passenger Air Bag Light (So no airbags at all)/Hazard Light button and Vent. For those of you who know what the dashboard of a 8th Gen Civic looks like you catch my drift.
Now, I've already dealt with my insurance on this matter and fairly painlessly they have agreed to see that all of the OEM components that were stolen be replaced. Climate Control, etc etc.
However, my headunit was aftermarket and, be it worth noting, SUPER CHINESE. It was bought as a gift for me on Amazon, and whilst the headunit itself worked great. It had next to no information on it at all. It was one of those things that was built in the backwoods of China. Even the box said "GPS ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM" with a horrid generic picture of a car and no other information to boot.
My claims adjuster has told me that I will need to have the headunit escalated to a team who deals with aftermarket shit.
So, what can I expect?

If you're not trolling, cause I generally share this degree of cynicism towards a lot of forms of Media.
If it was some production company making a movie based on something that this dude said "yeah whatever" to. I would be just as jaded.
I'm well aware of the usual possibilities that comes with any sequel of any nature, however; over the course of 15 years I can assure you that this poor bastard has been hammered with one question "LOL FIGHT CLUB SEQUEL PLZ".
If he waited 15 years to pump this badboy out, I can guarantee that his response to every single one of those questions was "I will when it won't be a big pile of shit". He had an ounce of artistic restraint, rather than going "LOL FITE CLUB MOVIE WAS MONEY? I NEED MORE, FITE CLUB 2 - JACKS PENIS"
Or maybe his crack bucket ran out and he does need money either way.
If you're trolling though, you're a faggot.

I think Clooney is great in most of his roles (O Brother Where Art Thou, Burn After Reading, Michael Clayton, etc.), but I really didn't like the way he played him. He was just goofy. But I guess being goofy kinda matches that shitty movie. It's too bad Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy was wasted on that movie. She was pretty good considering. At 8/23/13 05:36 PM, Loki wrote: Still wont be as bad as Clooney. As an avid Batman fan I think a lot of people are being very short sighted about this whole Batman shit.
Personally, I think Clooney could make a great Batman, he has the looks and the attitude for it. You have to remember, it wasn't "Clooney" who was bad, it was the movie. I.E. the Writers and Producers.
Like I said, I feel as though Clooney has the persona for it. He's more akin to the way Kevin Conroy portrayed Batman in the Animated Series. As this sort of sauve, handsome, billionare playboy that Batman is.
The goofy/campy nature of the movie and the way Batman acted was sheerly on the Writers/Producers pushing the movie to be more kid friendly.
Remember, the first two Batman movies from WB (1989 and 1992) were dark and to be honest, I can't see how that even remotely flied as "kid-friendly' looking back at it.
Michael Keaton's rendition of Batman was more reserve, quiet, and kept to himself. He wasn't flamboyant as Bruce Wayne is portrayed in the Animated Series. Coming in with bitches on his arms and shit.
Yeah, Christian Bale had to do that for the Christopher Nolan trilogy, but..it didn't seem to have the same impact with me. I guess, primarily, because the movie has such a gritty tone for the rest of it. Such events kinda roll off ya.
Given an actual development team for the movie, I feel Clooney could be a serious contender for a great Batman.
He would need to be put in the situation where they were trying to take the movie as seriously as Tim Burton's/Christopher Nolan's crew did.
Just my two cents.
A lot of Serial Numbers for programs use some form of Hexadecimal system.
I know the hardware locks that I have experience with store hexadecimal values to determine what products/features our customers have bought.

A lot of people seem to forget or weren't aware, the public fucking HATED Michael Keaton as the choice for Batman when the 1989 version was around, however; after he sat in your mouth for a while he turned out to be an amazing dude for the part.
So in short, stop being judgemental twats.

Tampa is only good for beach life to be honest. If you move to anywhere in Florida move to somewhere outside of the Orlando area. Be mindful though, there is a whole lot of Ghetto around Orlando. Especially Orange Blossom Trail. Anyone whos stayed in Orlando knows that god awful area.
But 30 miles away from Orlando it gets really nice. ...Well as nice as Florida can be.

Another good language to get started with is C#. It's the language I first learned on and it's very similar to Java as well.
For the love of god, despite the intention of Visual Basic, DO NOT let it be your first language.
It was developed as a language that was more "readable" (if you pick up programming, readability will be a very big aspect, especially if you plan on having other people ever look at your code.) But anyway, the way Microsoft developed the Syntax makes some things very loosely defined and a couple of other nuances that will literally just kick you in the ass if you carry it to another language.

You don't have to use C++ and if it turns out that your game runs slow, then it's probably poor programming, not the fact that Java can't handle it :P If you want more speed, use Hardware Accelerated graphics (I.E using OpenGL for graphics). Most media libraries for Java do this anyway.
I guess fundamentally its not a vary complex game. But I plan on having -many- AI. Each unit will have its own AI scripts running and there could be hundreds (of course this is currently all in my head and may adjust) One of the games I am using as inspiration is Dwarf Fortress if that explains anything. Java is what I would like to use but I am afraid that if I start development on it and suddenly find out that the language wont work due to its natural ability to be a resource hog sometimes.
I agree with this 100%. Java is the way to go for simple games. Easier to use and every computer on the face of the planet has the JRE running on it, plus. If you decided to port your game over to Android once it's all said and done. If you go with Java, migrating it from Java to Android is as simple as making some minor changes and referencing some different libraries. The process won't be as simple when porting from Android to iOS per-se, but you'll have a huge foot in when it comes to mobile development in Java.

What exactly are you doing at the time of the crash?
More info means quicker solutions.
It is more than likely Aluminum.
It's a non-magnetic metal that's commonly used in a lot of household purposes, dryer exhaust for one.

And yes like I've said, Hank Hill's town might have cheap rents but everywhere in the US doesn't. There's a housing crisis in the UK at the moment though, which has seen rents increase dramatically over the last few years.
Yeah, in regards to housing prices.
I grew up in an area where a 2 bedroom apartment would run you between $400-$500(USD) a month for what I'd personally consider "average". Honestly, though, you would be able to get by with a less-than-setllar apartment for $250-300 depending on the condition over all.
Now, I've moved to Central Florida in a small, middle-class, town outside of Orlando. The worst apartment we saw was $750 a month for <900 SqFt of space. Which, in comparison to where I come from, is fucking nuts.
Our current 2 bedroom apt pushes past that..Needless to say, it would be extremely difficult for someone around here to live on their own with a minimum wage job. Possible, though..I know a couple of towns around us are lower-income areas with cheaper housing.

Can't blame people who live off welfare/food stamps would like to buy those with their food stamp money.
Light amounts of sweets I can tolerate.

It is true that a lot of healthy food might be more expensive than just going to Burger King or KFC and getting some cheap and quick instead.
Even outside the realm of fast food.
As a kid who grew up on food stamps on-and-off. I can tell you one thing, when you're out shopping for food, you're sure as shit not looking to buy leafy greens and generally fresher, more healthy food.
Why? Because they go bad, and you're looking to make $200 government dollars stretch out over the course of a month. So you can't afford to buy shit that isn't going to last long (also, it's marginally more expensive).
So, what do you go for? Lots of Frozen/Preserved foods. Most Frozen Food is packed with so much god damn Sodium it'll make your eyes shrivel up from dehyradtion and also not a whole lot of frozen stuff is very healthy..
Sure, there are healthy preserved options. Why eat a Hot Pocket when you can eat a Tuna Sandwich? Bread is cheap and Tuna takes forever to go bad.
Eh..

Illinois is 15.8% obese children, compared to 16.4% obese children in Georgia, and 20.0% obese children in Tennessee. Not a real large difference.
You brought up state-wide statistics. I brought up very particular areas of each state, primarily because those are lower-income areas and areas I have lived in my life.
I bring up those areas for a reason, because they are generally lower-income regions.
Reason for this? Poor people have a harder time eating healthier, because generally healthier food is quite expensive. Sure people could eat less, but if they had that mentality, well, I reckon they wouldn't be too poor now would they?
