Yes, but something is obviously wrong with your computer, as Firefox 3 is definitely much faster and more stable than Firefox 2. A complete uninstall of Firefox 2 and a new download of Firefox 3 would most likely take care of it. It is possible you had connection errors while downloading the installation file and the download was corrupted.

Also, to the OP, lower the amount of space used by the Temporary Files folder and System Restore. By default these are set way too high.

No it does not. Defragmenting rearranges the data on your hard drive so it is more quickly accessible. It can make your computer run faster, but it certainly does not give you more hard drive space.

The site is at least half running now and they have the right links up now to download Firefox 3. NG is running a lot faster for me using FF3, it's really quite a difference.

The Cards sent Izzy to Single A for his first rehab appearance, and he is supposed to go to Double A soon. Wainright out isn't that big of a deal as the Cards have been making due with a half to a third of a rotation all season anyway (lol), and Pinero is due to start back tomorrow. Lohse has been awesome, and Looper, although inconsistent, has his moments, such as the game tonight where he threw a 3-hit shutout. Pujos is of course a big deal, and it will be interesting to see how the Cards deal. Defensively they should be fine, even though Pujos is a damn fine first baseman. Offense is the big question, and as I saw someone point out on ESPN, Ludwick will probably be pitched differently now that Pujos is out.

I really want to check out the Civ Revolution demo, but I've been playing waaaaayyy too much of the BF:BC demo. It owns hard...I'm going to have to buy the game definitely. I own BF2, but my computers are too shitty to play it without horrible jerking, even on the lowest graphics settings. So BF + console = fucking win.

yeah :/ Jose Guillen had a 7-RBI game with a grand slam no less, and the Royals still couldn't seal the deal. Their bullpen is pretty much worthless. Of course the 12-11 game doesn't say much for either team's pitching, the Royals aren't exactly offensive powerhouses.
