I thought that was you, I wasn't sure though. The regulars make a habit out of ignoring names they don't recognize, for the most part.

Last Sunday, I was watching the MU-KU basketball game in which MU got bitchslapped unfortunately and right before they cut to commerical at halftime they showed this guy in stands holding a poster that said "All Your Base Are Belong To Us!" I just burst out laughing. Interesting see how something like that spreads.

Gun control rant...
First of all, we American citizens do not have the right to bear arms, they have the privelage.
The Second Amendment, far from the Holy Grail the NRA purports it to be, is only for "a well-regulated state millitia." Rights, as the law goes, are only those in the Constitution and the amendments. There is no law that says "you can bear arms, cause God said so". The Supreme Court has never struck down gun control laws on the basis of the Second Amendment. I have personaly read about a case in the 30's where an Olkahoma law prevented the ownership of sawed-off shotguns. A man arrested under that law tried to challenge on the basis that his constitutional right were being violated. The Supreme Court struck that down, saying the Second Amendment does not deal with the private ownership of guns except pretaining to a state-regulated militia, and this man was not a member of one.

Guns make it easier for people to kill each other, espically the kids who are picked on. They are scared already, and will not resort to stabbing. They feel safe behind a gun, it empowers them. If they had the courage to kill people with a knife, they probaly would because it is much more horrific and would have much more psychological impact, which is generally what they're going for, sending out a message, like "Don't fuck with me!" If they did attack people with a knife, they would have to be much more couragous and probaly stupid, because people would be more apt to stop them. Me espically, if I saw someone going after people with a knife, I'd grab a chair or bat and beat his ass savagely.

Guns are a major problem in the U.S. Completely eliminating them will never happen, though, espically here. People sanctify guns for some damn reason. We do need guns for hunting, which helps regulate the animal population, espically where I live. But you don't need a fucking 9 mil to go hunting. Yeah, I'm going to bust a cap in that deer's ass. I personally think the NRA for the most part if retarded, hence the pic. This is definetly going to piss some people off. Some dumbass called me a "bleeding heart liberal" and this other crap and told me to read a book called More Guns = Less Violence. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!! Yeah, if only everyone had 20 guns, we would be just fine. Grandma walking down the street with a Uzi. Here Johhny, for your 3rd birthday, we got you a brand new sniper rifle! HA HA HA!

Gun control, specifically handguns, would solve a hell of a lot of problems. And Pantomine_Horse is damn right about all these idiots misinterpating the Second Amendment. It only pertains to a millita, the point being so a state could raise and army if necassary, say if the British attacked again (This was the late 1700s). I've tried to explain this fact many times, but I often end up getting called a "liberal" which seems to be a great insult for some people. If the incident in California doesn't demonstrate this, i don't know what does. But the fact remains that this kind of change probaly won't happen, thanks to the nazi NRA, who always like to skewer the Second Amendment. The Supreme Court has NEVER struck down a gun control law on the basis of the Second Amendment.

Yeah, they made fun of me, let's go shoot 'em, that will show them. That is EXACTLY what is wrong with these kids that do the shootings, that attitude. This was inevitable. Several stories have been in the news recently, although buried in the papers, about how a stundent was discovered with a bunch of guns and pipe bombs planning to attack a school. One of these was a kid planning to attack a community college. WTF? A community college? That's just plain stupid. You're only there for two years and the atmosphere is completely different from high school. But eventually, someone was sneaky enough to pull this off. Guns sucks ass. The only reason we should have them is for hunting purposes, rifles and shotguns. People can get killed by those, too, like in Columbine, but it's much harder to conceal them. A security guard at the school's enterance would be much better than a damn metal detector. The high school I went to had 2 main buliding across the street from one another and my locker was in one and most of my classes were in the other building. I would have been late every damn time if I had to got through a metal detector, hell I was late most of the time anyway. But eliminating the pointless ownership of handguns would be great. Reduce violence, espically domestic violence and kids getting shot while playing with them. Don't give that dumbfuck shit about "oh, if the criminal might think you have a gun he'll think twice about breaking in" THE FUCK HE WILL! He's going to break in anyway. That's absoutely fucking ludicrous. The only way you might make them think twice is put a big ass sign on your house that says "I've got 15 guns biatch" and I'm sure your neighbors would appreicate that. I live in a rural area where lots of people have guns and breaking and entering still happens all the time. They don't even think about someone having a gun, they just want to steal something. We need guns for hunting, because, espcially where I live, the damn deer population is too high anyway and this county is like 5th in the nation in deer killed every year. I saw some go across the street last night right in front of me and I about hit the damn things. But handguns are pointless. Eliminate handguns. "Oh, but then all the criminals will have the guns and will run rampant" Not. The criminals will do what they want to do no matter what. Don't take our guns away because they're L33T, right? I just don't understand the need these kids have to actually kill people. That's ridiculous. I've hated people before, and fantasized about beating them up, but not using weapons of any kind. Kids today are a bunch of fucking pansies. Hell, I'm only 18, but it seems that I'm light years from these punks. Dammit, back when I was a kid, I had to walk 50 miles in a blizzard just to get to school......anyway, enough rambling.

Come to Macon, Missouri, a shithole of 6,000 in the middle of nowhere. The closest city of decent size in 1 hour away. We have a old millitary acadamy that became a looney bin and is know a retirement home for the elderly. I looks like a old castle, right by a corn field. And we have a drive-in theater that is still in operation and even still shows cartoons before the movies. And, we have 6 carwashes and about 20 antique stores and "Lolli's Exotic Livestock Market" ye-haw and a can of beans. And, the only place to get anything is Wal-Mart.

Wolf3d is still one of the best games of all time. The Doom2 secret level was pretty cool, although the second secret level pissed me off because it had the cyberdemon as the boss rather than one of the Wolf bosses, I wanted Hitler on there. It did have Commander Keen on that level though. We be bringing back da ol skool.

It seems this is a prevalant problem among NG users, waiting too long to tell someone you like/love them. I went through the same thing. I was pretty much in love with this girl I've known for a while but never got the courage to tell her. Well, in January, she died of alcohol posioning. Life's a bitch like that. Rarely does one have ample opportunity for "closure" if such a thing even really exists. Losing a love one is something you just don't get over completely. It hurts too much. I have learned a couple of things from her, though. Don't drink too much and never wait very long to tell someone how you feel about them no matter how hard it is. You'll be better of rather than sitting around wondering "What if?". I did that for a while, what if I had ask her out when I had the chance, then she wouldn't have gone to that party with her boyfriend, got way too drunk, and died. But you can't play that game, you can't live in the past. Life goes on, no matter what. Like the song says, Oh, I'm still alive, yeah, I'm, I'm still alive!
