Do you want them to put it together for you to?

No, just go to kinkos or staples and pay the 50 cents to get it printed out

Art Portal Patrol Posted July 18th, 2009 in Clubs & Crews

The Art Portal is a new frontier for Newgrounds, and with a new portal there can be new users that step up to help make sure that everything runs smoothly.

I'm looking for users who are willing to pick through the Art Portal, voting and leaving reviews for as many pieces as they can as well as flagging abusive reviews and stolen/inappropriate art.

Reviewing

Don't just leave reviews that are little more than an ego stroke, those aren't useful. If you think their art is good just give them a 5. What the Art Portal needs is a group of reviewers who can go around and leave meaningful reviews. If there's something the artist needs to work on, than point it out and maybe suggest how they could do it better.

Reporting Stolen Work and Photographs

This is pretty self-explanatory. If you see work that is stolen, please report them with a fury! A good way to check to see if something is stolen is running it through Tineye. Photographs of any sort are also not allowed in the portal, this includes photo collages or photos that just have some sort of filter on them.

Reporting Inappropriate Work

Flagging inappropriate work is a little tricky, what it comes down to is whether or not the piece is properly rated. Pieces that are sexually explicit or violent usually need either an M or an A rating. If you see a piece like this flag it, but make sure that you say in your reasoning that it only needs it's rating changed and that it doesn't need to be deleted. This also goes for pieces that are rated T, M, or A that don't need it, often people will give their art a higher rating in a pathetic attempt to get more people to look at their picture. These also need to be flagged.

Reporting work also goes for the Unscouted section for those of you who have access to it. That's usually where you will find users who are breaking the rules and submitting stolen/inappropriate art. So it's just as important to pick through the Unscouted section as well as the Art Portal.

One last thing I'd like to clarify, that this thread is not a request thread. Do NOT link to your art on this page, begging people to review/vote on your pieces. All review requests/begging will be deleted. If you persist I WILL go all Jackie Chan on your ass, and nobody wants to see that.

Me and Nae just glued ours to cereal boxes and cut them out, it's a good and cheap alternative to bristol board that's easy to find

You still locked out Fleshy? Look up the phone number of a locksmith, my whole family managed to lock ourselves out of our house once and had to call one to open the door for us.

I agree, i know personally I don't drink or do drugs for my own reasons, but i don't go around calling myself "straightedge" like i'm in some elitist club. It's just a personal decision, lumping yourself into a group is stupid.

No they are not, but most comics come in graphic novel form. So one book would consist of several issues of the comic

Response to: this picture breaks a rule? Posted July 16th, 2009 in Art

Just check out the rules like the others have said before posting in the art portal.

That picture is perfectly fine for the portal as long as it's appropriately rated, in this case it would probably be M.

If you have any questions please check the Art Portal FAQ before posting about it.

But I will beat you some day Joel! Mark my words!

No you don't need to be worried. Just make sure that your password isn't something that would be easy to guess or brute force. And don't click on anything that seems sketchy, just check the web address that the link is going to send you to before you click it and you should be fine.

I opted out of underwear and normal clothes a long time ago, I only wear plaid onesies with the oh so convenient bumflap.
