You crossed a line cunt, typical of a woman to not see the value in helping others, even at the risk of your own life.

LMAO no his argument was "no women firefighters died". Hmmm, I guess that makes us a hell of a lot smarter doesn't it?

All you're saying is that because most bad in the world is done by men, then the good that men do is canceled out.

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm showing the other person that the bad in the world is more evident than the good. I never said it canceled good out, but he seems to think that men have done so much good for society when we still have mass deaths (more than ever) widespread disease (more than ever) and injustice worldwide ESPECIALLY for children.

Let's be honest here, when I'm walking outside late at night, I'm not worried about women beating me up, and robbing me. Even though that it is a statistical anomaly.
But I also understand that if my house were to be on fire, that it would be fireMEN to come, and save my life.

Lmao umm okay. Given that there are more men in firefighting, it would stand to reason that a fireMAN will come to safe your life. Here I was thinking men were supposed to be good at mathematics.

Yes it has. There has honestly never been a better time to be living in than today in my opinion. Life expectancies are long, science is giving way to new mind-boggling discoveries, poverty isn't as common and the Internet has provided a massive amount of knowledge, the ability to communicate and share content, and the ability to discuss matters and opinions with someone on the other side of the globe like you and I are doing right now... I don't think the state of the world many years ago trumps the state of the world right now.

Then you judge well-being strictly as advancement with no moral or social factors. Okay. Death and destruction in 2012 with high-tech weapons is still death and destruction as it was in 1100. Just because we have pretty lights doesn't mean "men" have made the world any better.

Sure, technologically we have advanced (thanks to men AND women; and strangely this knowledge explosion occurred around the time women were finally ALLOWED to do the jobs men did).
This is not a logically correct argument.

it wasn't an argument at all, it was a historical fact. And do you not know what logic means?

That's like saying you have a class of 10 students, and then an 11th student comes in and from the time he entered, people started getting their stationery stolen more. He may have been the culprit, but it is in no way implying he is definitely a thief.

What? This isn't related at all. I'm saying that when the 11th student was allowed into the room, the class's scores increased.

In any case, men today are still changing the world more than women (and in my opinion, changing it for the better, overall).

And in any case, men today are still changing the world negatively more than women. You have no real argument here other than to ignore the inverse. You aren't thinking proportionately.

If group A, it's members wearing blue hats, has 10 people with shovels and group B, it's members wearing red hats, has 10 people without shovels, which group will probably dig the deepest? Claiming that group B loses due to their red hats it ludicrous. What has happened now is group B has been given 7 shovels and is playing catch-up.

Look at some site showing the most recent inventions - you'll see that most of the inventors are men. Also, Steve Jobs and Bill Gates - they've provided the operating systems that the vast majority of us are using today. Nobody can argue that this software isn't essential. Just giving an example.

How many dictators and genocidal maniacs have been women?

But even if this were not the case, what is so wrong about living happily and satisfied?
If everyone lived just happily and content without actually contributing something new, innovative and essential to the world, progress would never be made.

A disease is cured because the presence is unsatisfactory. You want to genetically engineer super diseases as bio-weapons. In one case, we are living contently without a problem, and in another we create more problems in the name of "innovation". Yeah, good argument.

Sure, there are wars, and yes some men may take their ambition too far and cause said wars, but what's to say women won't go into war if every country was run by women?

Ohhhh so suddenly women are equal to men in the capability for malevolence, but when it comes to anything beneficial, we are handicapped? Mhm. Who's to say women wouldn't have progressed humanity further if we had been allowed the privileges we are gaining today? See how rational thinking leads to natural equality? I'm not the one with logic issues here.

the good men have done far outweighs the bad in my opinion.

Erm, alright then.

real success and satisfaction in life come from turning your ambitious dreams into reality

That's completely subjective. Not everyone wants to rule the world for some sort of psuedo-altruism.

At 28 minutes ago, Supersteph54 wrote: I mainly dislike how women aren't usually as ambitious as men are. It's men who seem to be changing the world more than women, while women often just strive to live happily, raise a family and earn a living. While both genders need each other, I find that men are the ones who usually make more of a statement and contribute the most to mankind. I'm only generalising, no offence to individual girls on here.

This world hasn't really been changing for the better has it? You can't honestly say that men have done SO MUCH good here. Sure, technologically we have advanced (thanks to men AND women; and strangely this knowledge explosion occurred around the time women were finally ALLOWED to do the jobs men did). But even if this were not the case, what is so wrong about living happily and satisfied?

If I didn't know better, I would say that being content is more beneficial to yourself and society than selfish "ambition". But of course you don't think so, and that's why we go to war every year.

Response to: Exploiting games is fair? Posted March 3rd, 2012 in Video Games

Well I think anything they put in the game is fair game. Like in BF3, the MAVelevator is/was "cheap", but it was in the game and was fair just like all the overpowered weapons. Getting mad at someone who choses to use something just because you want them on the same handicap as you is more selfish than their actions =)

Response to: Christian / Atheist Divide? Posted March 2nd, 2012 in General

Because atheists are in the minority. It would stand to reason that there would be a non-proportional drop in every statistic. Religion has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence, certainly not when anyone can claim to be Christian and not follow a single law of Christianity. If this "logical" conclusion was anywhere near legitimate, we could say that black people are more evil than other races because there are more arrests.
