I did the same. It's likely that your mind wants to think more abstractly when prompted to do memorize asinine information. Maybe you could find some boring book on tape and play it in the background. See where that takes you. It could be a way of escapism.
Sweet. It's my work computer BG now. Personally, I listen to Pale Blue Dot by Carl Sagan on youtube. It's his book on tape read by himself before he passed. If you listen to it, it will change you. His voice is so damn soothing. I feel like I could sit and draw for days on end listening to him.

I really like your work, the last one especially. It almost looks Hawaiian in style.

When I was much younger and had time to hang out with friends, we would come up with ideas and draw and paint etc. for hours on end. Some nights we would forego sleep to make sure the work was done. A decade had gone by since I have seen any of my friends, and I have lost that creative edge you get when you're being pushed by peers. There was a feeling of feeding off of each other's creative energy. I draw in short bursts nowadays, but it has been years since I have created something start to finish.

Where is Andromon?!
You''re work is pretty cool man. I watched this show from start to finish years ago when it first came to that US. I just started on it again.

The drawing is good, for a beginner. You took the initiative to shade, which shows that you put some thought into it.
Try using shadows instead of lines in areas where a line looks too harsh, for example the abdominal area in real life doesn't look like a tic-tac-toe board, there are subtleties.
In reality there are no lines, only instances where one color or shade stops, and another one starts.
And keep shading! It really does help you understand volume. You'll get there.
Maybe il get a drawing tablet once I have some extra money.
Drawing on paper always leads to unwanted smudges and just looks really messy.
I draw with my hand on the paper too, despite being told that straight lines come from lifting your hand up. To keep myself from smudging the paper, I take a folded piece of paper and rest my hand on that. When it starts to pick up too much graphite, I replace it.

Dang, the difference between your line work and finished product are craziness! It looks really well done finished. Would not have gotten that from your line work.

Edit: Sorry, was told that the black lines in the hair were a no-no. Fixed. Also, that my awesome gradient background that took me hours to perfect was ridiculously stupid and overbearing. Fixed.

It's a hand drawing and isn't too complicated of a drawing. I would love to see what you guys can do with it!
I'm going to give it a go. Working on new lines for it now. I will likely have it tonight or tomorrow at the latest, as I work at a university and it is still Summer, so no classes... yet.

Oh. Everything is newly remastered. The lines, the body build (i.e. smaller breasts, feet, back, chin), Skin tone, shadow amount. There are even highlights on the version I submitted to my own portal, but the more I look at that version, I hate it.
The hair and horns came last and also have more detail, along with the sketchy lines here and there to indicate that I at least looked it over.

Yeah, I get it. No back ground and not much for T&A. That seems to be the winning combination here on NG. If there's no full frontal nudity or a woman being tentacle raped, it inherently receives low scores.
But it is funny, I posted this same image on different art sites and each community receives it completely different. While it garnishes praise on some, it gets blasted on others. Oh well. I won't apologize for mediocrity. Just means I need to work a little harder to impress the click-n-fappers here on NG. I appreciate your honest review.
I believe this is how many increase their so-called viewership, so I will abide.
This is an attempt to recreate an image I made about six years ago.
I just tell people everything I draw is in Purgatory, with no inclinations of what is up, down, left or right. Nothingness can be something too.
Damn you. I went from the first page of this thread to the last. Damn you twice for improving so vastly in such a short amount of time. Damn you again. When you die, I'm bottling your soul until I can figure out how to absorb it all kinds of Duncan Mcleod from The Highlander, style. You filthy, talented bastard.

I'm guilty of doing it myself, but that's the current system. Wouldn't it be cool to have a word minimum of at least 50 to submit a review?it would, I definitely agree, but I think the review system is used much in the way that the comment section on you tube is, witch anyone can use, its easy and convenient it allows everyone to have access to it, however, on the other hand its easy to use, everyone can use it and that means every asshole can go "LOL NICE LOLICON, FAGGERT"
its really a question of, do you want convenience and accessibility where everyone can say what they think, or do you want an awkward system thats kinda pretentious that favors the verbose.
also word minimum I assume are hard to track, that's why we have character limit trackers on twitter and all that since its easier to code or something like that.
YouTube is terrible in that respect. Especially when some videos have top comments like "LOL" and get hundreds, if not thousands of thumbs up, when others who post thoughtful and insightful comments are immediately disregarded or flamed. NG may not have a perfect system, but it is certainly one I would choose over many others.
I always try to draw women more often than men, I suppose. T & A make my thing get all hard. Sometimes, when I write and my "W's" comes out a little rounded, they resemble boobies and I just can't help myself...
I'm looking for someone to do it on a regular basis. I don't want to post something I doodled on a napkin (because half of looks exactly like that) just to see if anyone would do it. I am avoiding that topic for a reason.
Thanks.
I have been trying for some time to work on my coloring skills, but to no avail.
Anybody looking to fill in some nice colors for me in collaboration?

The split is the usually 50/50, and I usually put the last two games up for bid on FGL
I have no idea for what to do for a next project but if anything, i wouldn't mean doing a tower defense game like Zombie Trailer Park on this site. I can't quite do Box2D physics yet, so that not an option (Learning atm), so if you an artist(hopefully around 20 years old) and you have an idea, replay here or
private message me

I'm interested in creating artwork for your game. While I have some newer art here on NG, I have much more sitting around in sketchbooks and lost folders on my hard drive. I have CS5 Master Suite so transference wouldn't be an issue.

Close, I made my own and they are a tiny bit less exaggerated, but similar.
