also, the 8.1 start button just takes you to the v8 Start Screen, does it not? Classic Shell is customizable and brings back the actual start menu.
Stuff the 8.1 update then... xD

I would advise you not to get Windows 8 if you have never used it....for once I would have to disagree with you on this one. I just recently got a new computer, running Windows 8. once you get past that pesky start menu, you're back into familiar territory. it also helps to install Classic Shell (freeware), which brings back the classic start menu and boots right into desktop mode. I couldn't tell you how the OS difference affects performance though; my new machine has a much faster chip than my old one, which voids any fair comparison.
People may say it doesn't care about what version you use but 1) It does... and 2) It will personally annoy you... I hate the shit out of Windows 8 on my partners computer and I don't even do music round hers....
The 8.1 update allows you to make 8 back into the good 'ol classic start menu which is a bonus, although I personally think the Windows 8 computers I have been on so far (+laptops) have had issues with internet connection, None of the Apps work, you have to install all of them+update most of them (That has only happened to me though.. xD), there were no problems with the internet connection (with the computer downstairs running 7 + another on Vista)
The search (on the right hand menu thing) tends to be a bit slower than 7 but that might just be me again :(
Also, IMO... I would advise you not to get Windows 8 if you have never used it....

Waste of time,
Best thing to do is use the little BUG that Mixcraft still have...
Download free mixcraft, install it... Wait until the trail runs out... Enter a serial code (any one on the internet)
Then make a new user account for your music...
xD
I studied and composed on Mixcraft for about 2 years... I loved it... But Cubase beat it for me personally.. :(

Good good, that is great! I started on a piece the other day just using the lost piano patch with a couple of FX patches, I can't wait to hear what you do with it :)

AHh thanks man, how is it at the moment?
Hey guys!
I decided to do this a bit earlier as I want to be nice... ;)
I have a little something....
3 people can download Cinematic Rhythms for free!
Basically a little give away, but all you have to do is:
1) Like this page: CentralComposers Facebook page
2) Like the recent status ("For those people who check out the Cinematic Rhythms or new people! etc..."
and then by the end of this month, or the 25th, I will select 3 people at random to win a free download of Cinematic Rhythms library for Kontakt 4!
If any one has any questions, please email me at brandon-spendlove@hotmail.co.uk
(I am pretty sure I can post this right? xD)
Would be good to see a couple of people on the page!
I was also thinking of a little something with composing a piece with Cinematic Rhythms (with people who own it)... So more details on that in the future...
Thanks for the guys that are support, means a lot.... I only started out yesterday but I already got a few customers.

I thought $18 is the kind way of selling this library, thanks man! :)

A quick note. You might wanna promote your library on vi-control forum. There are people who might show interest in buying your product.
I never got onto signing up to the site, I found all my Scripting tutorials on that forum ;)
Thanks man!

Brilliant!
Yeah, I have no bugs recorded for Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit versions) so if anything occurs and you don't mind, pop a email to me! :)

.
Just bought and I am awaiting for the download email to be messaged to me.
Hey man!
Thanks so much for buying and the nice comment! I decided to sell it at a low price as I said a very long while ago, libraries that I have always wanted are so much in priced, although I don't see the point of ripping people off like $100, I wanted to keep my price at a resonable price and I really hope you enjoy it ;)
You should receive a link with the Download url in the 'Cart information' section!
Just a quick thing, do you run MAC by any chance?
Again as I said via email, if you have any problems, please email me or message me on here! :)

Title just about fit...!
LINK for everything I am explaining about: (Rough website, soon to be www.centralcomposers.com)
Ok well, some people may of noticed my annoying post about me going and going on about a library I have been developing for Kontakt 4 called 'Cinematic Rhythms'...
Here is some quick information for the new people checking out this product (WHICH is now released official!)
This library was a personal developed library by myself as in the style of so called 'Cinematic' or 'Sound Design' styles for Composition... I had gathered a range of samples I have made to create this library which splits into 4 CORE categories as stated:
1 Tonal Loops
2 Percussive Kits
3 FX and Hits
4 Instruments
The 'full bundle' option comes with all 4 categories at only $18
Categories can be purchased as a individual at $8....
Some notes to look at:
MAC users may experience a graphic bug when loading instruments, this is something I need to change in the script as Kontakt MAC does not read back slashes in command lines... I need to re-edit all the patches and release a update...
ALL updates for Cinematic Rhythm customers are released for free....
200+ NKI files (Just to throw that their...)
Cloud Storage used is Mega.co.nz for download link/download file... It is very safe and does not require add-ons or a download for it to work...
Loads of information at these pages stated:

Any questions, trouble, feedback or hate would be great to hear! You can contact me via email at brandon-spendlove@hotmail.co.uk
I literally released it yesterday, and this is my first advertising (on the forums of the release of this library!) so far had 4 customers purchase it and they are happy with it.... It's a start to a long journey!
Next library details will be released early 2014 if any one wanted to know... ;)
At 11/3/13 02:12 PM, Elitistinen wrote: How far is this project? OP?
I was wondering the same, not heard anything for a while... :(
Any ideas on some more patches other than Perc or Tonal loops?
Would be good to get some more ideas of what some people want!
Also.... just a little reminder ! Cinematic Rhythms is now available for purchase! (yay!).... The website will be done soon, but you can still order it ;P

Who cares about the GUI, it's the sound at the end of the day which is important.
OH COME ON! Although everyone says its all about the sound, I would prefer a nice looking GUI to go with the sound/what it can do
