Another bundle coming out soon which will be to buy, I put a lot of effort into this new bundle!
Any guys that have Zebra 2 (2.5) that want to check them out before I release them? Just need a tiny bit of feedback and you get to keep it of course! ;)
I almost lost all of them because of a recent computer spaz out but I fixed my computer now! :)
The patch has roughly 200 patches being a lot of rhythmical and percussive, most of the old bundles patches come with it in a separate folder (as a bonus) for people who have not downloaded the old bundle...

Ahhh, well I really like awful music too... But of course music is better

I really like good music.

Tell me if this link doesn't work properly, just scroll down and you should see loads
Seriously, it's funny when people give there 'opinions' on which one is better....
It's like saying:
What's better to write music with? Piano or guitar?
omg mac is lyke so much better than pc, i dunt even own a mac
Yeah, in college lessons our singing teacher taught us different ways to practice your breathing.
I am no singing expert but we always tried these:
variations on : breathe in (4) - Hold for 4 and then breathe out for 4.... Don't rush the breathing and don't try to gasp too much air in or blow out
Try variations like - Breathe in for 4 - hold for 4 and then breathe out for 8 (Breathing out for 8 beats, you would have to decrease the speed of your exhaling by half than you would with 4... Just go twice as slow... duh!)
Work on the pronunciation of letters/words etc... That exercise about the ping pong ball? xD You sing it, and every time you finish it you speed it up... Works well on your pronunciation, don't slack those words!

Toxic Biohazard. Also, are you sure it's a Triangle or Square wave. After fiddling around with the Attack and Release, I can't get it to sound right. The original sounds more organic and sine-wave like.
I believe that doesn't sound so like a Sine wave, you could try adding a 2nd osc as a sinewave to give it different harmonics, but I have no experience with that synth, a lot of synths normally have the 1st LFO connected as a vibrato I think so try the 1st LFO on your left of the synth.
Keep fiddling with the attack! It will make a different to sound similar, did you try the square wave/triangle with adding a tad of distortion/grit? It will give it that crispy sound if you play with the High/mids on a distortion effect

What you using to re-create the synth?

Add an LFO to the Pitch envelope around 10 seconds? or less.... If you have an option instead of time signatures...
Maybe add a filter automation too! A tiny bit of grit?/distortion not too much, Maybe go for a square wave and filter out the lower frequencies, also you could try adding the LFO to the filter too so it is the same as the Pitch envelope time? Could work
You can also use the doppler plugin from waves, very useful plugin for future audio editing. It should be free on the site I think...

Triangle wave or Square wave whatever you like the most, filter it a tad to your preference, add some attack to the volume envelope for the length you want the note to fade in out and maybe add some release time so it doesn't just cut out and smoothly fades out...
Chuck some Reverb, maybe some very mild distortion... and maybe a tad of vibrato
You should make a huge bundle/library of FX and sell them!
Check out SynthEdit...
I would recommend it much over SynthMaker to start out with.
You have lots of options and also you can develop your own modules using the Development kit from SynthEdit. (IN C or C++)
You can always buy SynthMaker in the future line, but please don't go buy it without looking into any information.
TO make a basic Synth is very easy using both applications, but to make something worth using or selling is completely up to you and your process of planning and developing.
Both are very good with creating the synths itself and connecting the modules together. Using GUI to create the synths makes it much easier to code it but the advantages to work you own codes into the modules is brilliant in case you need something totally different which isn't out there. Although this method is extremely hard if you are new to coding, it's worth looking into if you have the time.
It's very hard to keep concentrated if you absolutely love music, it's a pain in the ass creating your own modules, but in the end run it can be worth it if you do have the time and you are actually willing to do something with it.
You can introduce custom graphics to both applications when designing your interface for the Synth but I believe Synth Maker is easier if you don't like looking into things. If you do like researching and learning and don't mind a step learning curve, then I would suggest SynthEdit over SynthMaker as beginning this.
There are also many videos on SynthEdit which I started on :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uz98kLJKY_c
It teaches you about creating a simple 2 Oscillator synth using all the pre-built modules.
Very good series...
Also as an advantage, if your poor like me, SynthEdit would be another good option. xD
With SynthEdit you can also find loads of modules to put into your Synth such as Effects on the internet that are mostly available for free to download. You just add it into your modules folder and you can load it up in SynthEdit.
Also, SynthEdit synths do take a bit of CPU usage up when you don't correctly create one or go mental with a Synth. The awesome things you can do is create 20 Oscillator Synths, but you might die....
SynthMaker is optimized more when extracting the project as a Synth I believe, but with little research you can develop a decent synth with SynthEdit that doesn't need a lot to run.
Messiah was also created by SynthEdit I believe!

Ahh! I find it one of the best personally xD

Yeah, it's true that there's some good songs.. but you find them like once a week. Like finding something useful in a trash can.
Hmm, I don't have problems finding things if I actually use the search bar and search different tags to different genres etc...
There isn't just "crap" on soundcloud.
From who I follow, it's just a matter of finding... There is a bit of crap on it isn't there? But not "just" crap, but I see what you mean...
I heard phenomenal compositions up on Soundcloud (full pieces) and I have met a few people who I now 'study' with... There are a lot of them people who just throw random crap on there like me.. (I throw a lot of my WIP/roughs)..
I have actually met a lot of people on SoundCloud who have helped me with the studies, but I have also on Newgrounds...
I like them both as each other because you can always find something new on both. Whether it will be people, music or even information...

That really reminds me again of the Hybrid Tools 2 Cursed Hits...
Loads of layers in there:
Try record a girl screaming in a warehouse to get the natural reverb, or just apply it your self,
Or you could use a organic-synthy sound with a pitch bend, would be a cool effect
Or you could use that - Plug a wah wah pedal into the amp but reverse the input/outputs and you get an awesome sound that you can control using the Volume/Tone knobs on the guitar
This type of stuff, if you are experimental enough, you could actually get a similar sound without the needs of recording any samples, just using synths (my opinion) xD
That might get you that main layer part of the sound :/

That would be interesting, I would agree on that one...
It would make sense that this thread would be suitable for this xD

I say specialize and develop skill in an instument you normally wouldn't be able to achieve if you spent the time learning other instrument. I guess I could wing it on the piano for a rhythmic role.
I totally get this :
Learning some other piano scores recently and turns out I can play better "Rhythmically" than I could about 3 months ago on the bass guitar... I am no bass guitarist, but some pianist loves the bass guitars! (As I know from my experience anyway... xD)
Just replied to your message I got, hopefully it helps ;)

-.- The demo doesn't sound all that when I clicked on the website, they should get someone else to do it... xD
I wonder how long it will last until something similar but better comes out... Or maybe not.. :(

Arp it up, add some delay....
Square/triangle wave (maybe a dual wave - 1)Square 2) Triangle and blend then in), add a tiny bit of filter (Subtractive Synthesis) use your ears until it's right... maybe a tiny.winy bit of reverb
I always tried to re-create some of my favorite sounds from scratch and I would usually learn something... I mainly done this with the previous library I released commercially after seeing Sam do it, and it so caught my eye and I loved it ever since....
One of my favorite things to try and create are all these weird, edgy, synthetic Synth loops or just Synths in general...
I mainly got a lot of ideas from checking out videos and libraries of :
8Dio's Hybrid Collection ( Hybrid tools 2 is awesome)
DJ's Project Alpha (Hybrid Two) - Some awesome sounds to get ideas from....
Transformers (Sound design) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyB8BR82Fno
If you use Massive or Zebra check out the channel ADSR : They do some tutorials on specific sounds via them synths and might teach you some more about some Synthesis : http://www.youtube.com/user/ADSRtuts
Heavyocity Evolve gave me some good ideas of sound design too!
I don't have a clue on specific plugins for effects on Sound Design, but I do a lot of mine through Waves plugins, quite a lot to choose from... Newgrounds is saying it's an invalid link... Duh! http://www.waves.com/
It's pretty cool to just have a little mental breakdown on some sounds and just throw some random effects on it and see what it sounds like, I believe you'll get a cool sound if you keep doing it sometimes... xD
War of the worlds is actually pretty awesome too!
Here is a quick video on some Transformers! using Massive: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0sFRbxACZE
Just going to throw Skyrim out too, because it is by far one of my favorite games on the PC...

Links don't work on here, might just be stupid Google Chrome... -.-
Awesome video on Synthesis (Literally teaches you the basics, I am sure you must know a bit about it anyway! ;) )
