I don't think I could find a lot, just the video:
After 18 months of development, a library of a size at 4.5gb with more than 2,100 samples. All samples being "carefully crafted" to fit perfectly with Cinematic mixes.
16 Core categories which includes:
Booms, Drastic Lines, Drones, Epic Bends, Epic Boom Kit, Levitations, Lights, BPM Sync Pulses Slow, BPM Sync Pulses Fast, Markers, Risers, Psychological Sounds, Taikos, Tonals, Unisons and Wooshes
Including 2 new scripted engines of more than 80k lines. FX 3.0 and CHOAS Engine, developed for the user to reverse any sound you want using the new Reverse feature that was added.

I'd have to say, you can make some very good expressive plucks,
BUT Horror, you can make some wicked pads/drones.

Let's set the record straight: PT is industry standard only for AUDIO, but its composing capabilities are behind that of Logic, DP, Cubase, etc. That is why most pro film composers link PT with other DAWs.
I agree, I was speaking to my music teacher the other day on how people think PT is literally the bollocks... Not saying it isn't, but we were talking about PT being industry standard for audio, it's very common that people use PT ONLY for Audio/mixing etc... because it seems that Midi in Logic/DP/Cubase seems more approachable compared to PT...
I remember back in college, if you didn't LOVE and Adore ProTools, that was supposedly the only reason for not liking ProTools:
"that you couldn't afford it.. haha" I used to love the people at my college, I'd get a good laugh out of them
Hey guys,
searching for a GUI Designer capable of creating a Modern/Industrial GUI from scratch (or re-design a GUI if needed). Payment is included but the job will actually start in 1-3 months, I'm posting now to make sure I'm ahead of the GUI design itself before I finish the coding/library itself. Payment will be discussed between us depending on the amount of work you need to do, it varies on the GUI design quality and how much time you work on it.
So, what is it exactly for?
At CentralComposers, we develop Music sample based library/banks commercially and we already have 2 in the market. We are looking for a GUI Designer to improve our "Engine" design for a more modern and professional look. The GUI Aspect of a Kontakt library in our libraries let's the user have complete control over their samples when they use them and let's them manipulate the samples into something better or new.
I've made a post a few minutes ago for this thread because I needed to include a few images. You can view the post at: http://bspendlove.newgrounds.com/news/post/894828
You'll get a better understanding of what is needed, the roles, responsibility and requirements. Here are the "Roles" in which you will have as our GUI designer:
-Come up with idea's for a GUI
-Create a Modern/Industrial GUI
-Create Suttle GUI Controls like Buttons, Knobs, Sliders, Navigation controls... (NOT essential)
-Take an exsisting idea and expand on it
-Re-design a GUI (If this is the case...)
-Provide the Project files with the image (so I can make any changes if needed, such as text, knob size...)
-Provide the control files (such as buttons, knobs, sliders etc...)
More information is on the Blog post for the Job, I find it easier instead of writing it all into a topic. If you still need more information or have any questions, you can PM me or use our websites Contact form to personally contact me (faster)...
-Brandon
If any information is needed in this Topic, then I'll write more what is needed.

I personally think it's under-rated... But a lot of people have recently been working with it, it's fantastic for creating Organic percussion if you know what your doing, you can create some cool sounds without knowing the synth inside out, but it helps.
It's such a clean interface, anything you're not using is hidden, which makes it neater if you're only using a simple oscillator and filter and some FX, I just wish they add some more FX in Zebra 3.

Kidddddding......
Both,
I personally like both...
I like to think: The more, the better...

It's ArmA 3 RESIST - and Road's End is available on Steam Workshop. If you get the chance, I hope you like it!
All the best,
Kydoimos
Of course! I'll definitely check it out, hope the project goes well!
Give Elitistinen a message, I think you'll like his stuff.
I'm a big fan of Arma III, I play DayZ quite a lot but bought a new GPU and I'll be playing 3 more often. If you need a dedicated sound designer at all or for any Arma related projects, message me at brandon-spendlove@hotmail.co.uk.
GUYS: It's coming out 15th May... Information came out today or yesterday about when it's coming out...
$199.... (Exc VAT I think...)
15th May.....

I wouldn't mind being on Whooshbangs and Impacts.. ;)
Silly me, a little picture of the GUI
Some have may seen this through DJ's post on Facebook or on the Facebook group (if I remember seeing someone put it up on it)
But yeah... Project Bravo is very close to release date.
Taking off from his little brother "Project Alpha", a lot of the category sounds have been improved including:
Impacts
Booms
Whooshbangs
Risers
Downers
Signature Sounds (NEW SOUND)
Drones
Reverse FX
Tempo Sync’d Rhythms
Synth ARPS
Synth Pads
Synth Bass
Daniel heard opinions from us people to what categories were awesome in PA, and he'd improve on those (which was basically everything...)
GUI
(Image attached to post)
The GUI is designed (looking like a custom script built on Project alpha's with a few more useful controls) to allow the user to completely rip apart a sound and create their own using the parameters such as the Sequencer, Dual Control LFO! Sequencer(Now what the heck is that?) Now it looks interesting, but I don't think I'll be getting my hands on it straight away, wait a few months, and their will be another sale which hopefully drops it in huge price! ;)
DEMO:
Only the first demo came out yesterday (or something like that)... I'm not TOO overly impressed, but I'll wait for the real thing before I comment or anything.

Mashing up samples together create a complete unique sound with more texture, but you can't just clash any odd sample together:
Check out some of the Dead Space 3 sound design videos, IMO it's one of the slickest sound design for game out their, it fits perfectly... My Youtube is not working so can't post video, but try to find the video where he talks about creating the scream for the necromorph, he mentions about recording his little niece, it's so cool...

I'd have to give that a 8/10.. You'd have to be a bit more retarded or somewhat to score a 10, although that seems almost impossible... :(

Noise Noise noise!!!!!
Noise is brilliant to add a type of "Ambiance" feeling to Synth/Electronic Drums. Whether it'll be just adding some noise underneath the sound itself, best out to try mucking around with Envelopes on some Noise, filter out some frequencies...
If you're using something like Zebra 2, it's useful than Massive features when working with the In-built FX because the FX is not on the whole sound generation, on Zebra you can output the buses of different sounds like the noise generator. Then you don't have to add Verb/Delay to your whole sound, and focus mainly on the ambiance itself without affecting the drum..
If you don't have Zebra, then that's all pointless to read ^^ xD But you could try the same with other Synths...
You can also use Massive/Zebra's Noise to layer under a sample you already have in Kontakt/Wav format (or on another synth...)
With Kontakt, this is extremely easy... I make a lot of sound sets with Synths, and the best way to loop it without clicks is to drag the x-fade roughly to 25000....
and as Rahmemhotep said, look closely at the shape of the Wave in the file itself and it's possible to loop a section which makes the sustain sound decent without the repetitive click. You need the Loop end to match up with the Loop start in the wave itself, it makes a consistent sound and not some clicky weird sounds you don't want...

Download anything and everything...
You'll come across something, it's impossible to not find a good (And free!!!) plugin here.
I'm pretty sure all of the loops in the library with Mixcraft that you can download are all Royalty Free?
One of the main sites I remember mixcraft loops streaming from to download is: http://www.sfxsource.com/royalty-free-music-loops.html
I'd wait for a MOD to comment and tell you... Just wait until you get the mark...

I used to hate it and think nothing of it, now... People sometimes over rate the quality of the sounds in Philharmonik, but I also think people underrate the unique sound it has to create soundtracks similar to Runescape... xD

3xOsc is a tiny lil thing, but when a producer that knows what he/she is doing when it comes to subtractive synthesis, it is quite powerful.
Haha Synthesis is over rated... ;)
Cubase: Because I like it, it suits my needs...
U-he Zebra 2: Because I like it, it suits my needs...

This is what I was talking about :) Some of the sounds can take from 2 minutes to create, it's awesome what Zebra2/Massive can do when you're not trying to make some bad ass bass, or pad...
I'm on a study on Percussion sounds only using Synths, it's actually amazing what some synths can do.
A lot of the sounds included in that download are more percussive sounds, but enjoy!
p.s. I still need to find someone who'd join me in releasing something commercially!!!! ;)

Here is the sample pack (including a standalone NKI file).
Dude, that's awesome! I'd one day love to record some brass to do such sounds in future libraries. I might upload a few sounds I've been working on, only using Synths (well only Zebra 2 and Massive).. I've been on the study on 8Dio's Hybrid Tools 1, Rhythmic Aura and Heavyocity's Aeon (Rhythmic) but like you! "In my own style" :P

Minimal System are having a mega sale of 50% on everything but you have to use a coupon code:
6576 (Write it in the checkout)
They do some really nice plugins, and the offer is also up until 30th April :)
The only thing that sucks with my version of Cubase is that I can't export multiple individual tracks, you can with audio but not a bunch separately. Unless I am just a complete idiot... It would speed up the process of exporting recordings into Kontakt...

I actually got my version for free (legally, I checked the license) by my piano teacher.
You know that's odd! I got given the Cubase of my teacher (he actually bought it via the school) and I guess I had to be the luckiest person then because he introduced me to EWQL and had a few spare products to "lend" me xD
