Yeah I know what you mean. I get that all the time online.

Also I know what you are saying but the skill really wasnt clear as me starting off playing and I basicly had what they did without knowing the locations or distances grenades go, but except for that the skill was just that of beggining players. i really don't see this game as having skill like others do.

It is hard until you actually see someone that good. Like my best's friends Brother used to play against 4 of us, and he'd win everytime. That showed skill beyond all of our expectations, because we were pretty good online.

We know it is over rated. The amount of threads and posts of this is ridiculous. The only reason it is over rated is because you listen to reviews and not your own opinion first. Halo 3 is a very good game. All games require skill. Halo is no exception. The sniper no-scoping, sticks with Plasma grenades (At long distance of course), the battle rifle at long range, the Spartan laser.
If someone gets a killing spree of 28 kills without dying on Halo 3 with a standard assault rifle and a shotgun, you're telling me there is no skill whatsoever in that?

COD4 does take skill, but for people who use the M16 all the time, or the M4, there is no skill involved. Stop complaining. We all know that the tournaments on the TV suck balls anyway, go to the big leagues, MLG for example, and look at the shots there. Pulse (If its the same channel I think of) shows VERY small leagues, with people such as yourself playing FOR FUN. If you look at a professional league you will see the difference.

I know that some (and most) will disagree with me on these but I want to see who will agree. These are ment to be multi-platformed, I don't like to concentrate on just one console.

Meant to be multi-plat formed? Halo, N+, Ratchet and Clank? Nice one.
N+ is a very good game. The Halo series you probably only hate because the masses do.

Most of these mods are better than games you buy at the store. So, if you have any source engined game, I suggest that you try atleast one of these 5 mods :)

P.S. I don't know if there is another thread about this, but I couldn't find it.

They are automatically in your games list anyway. Most of them are very old, and have already been discovered by the majority of users that play those types of games anyway.

See most people ignored what I said. This was not made to make people lose the game or anything. So don't yell at me. Then there are people who say "Argh stop you faggot", I was asking a question, making conversation, y'know, like you do in a Forum.

I'm not sure if many of you will understand what I am talking about, but let me tell you something before I explain.
What I'm about to tell you will change your life, there is no going back, after this day, things will be different.
Still wish to continue? Alright, I'll begin.
There are 3 rules to "The Game", these are as follows;
Rule 1: You are playing The Game.
Rule 2: Whenever you think about The Game, you lose.
Rule 3: Loss must be announced.
The objective of The Game is to forget that it exists.

Now I've changed your lives, we can begin.
"The Game" was started at my school around 6 months ago, back then everyone played, it was a fun game (No pun intended) and everyone had a laugh. Now, it has become an obsession.
People swear when they lose it, laugh hysterically when they make someone else do the same.
Everything you see reminds you of it.
"Hey, wanna go play the game from before"
"FUCK. Lost again."
Hell, even my teachers know about it now. The worst thing is, they say that you can never stop playing the game, you are always playing the game as long as you know the rules.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Dead rising and Portal have sequels coming.
1. The Darkness.
2. Dungeon Keeper 2.
3. Company Of Heroes (Not expansion, sequel).
4. Lord of The Rings; Battle For Middle Earth. - The Second one failed, if they combined the 2nd's new races, with the firsts units, it'd be good.
5. Shinobi (The original one for Sega Megadrive.)

In the video where the flashes of text come up, (You know, Maddie where are you?) there is one that says, "Flood detected" or something like that. If you read the books, the people could be Spartan3's. NOT CHEIF's type, the ones AFTER. And it may not be Regret, it could be Truth.

She's with you still, which means she sees something in you, but not in him.
You think he's cooler than you in a lot of ways, ever thought that she doesn't? Or she doesn't care about you being less cool, she just loves you for you and nothing else?
Its hard to admit, but I find the same problem with my girlfriend at the moment, loads of our mates (mine and hers) are cooler than me in loads of ways, but she chose me. Out of all of them - which is the same for you- it MUST mean something right?

I'm not saying end it, but maybe but your mind at rest by knowing who this person is. If you don't want it to you then even by not realising, you are growing attached to her. All relationships can be smoother, you just got to play them out, eventually it gets better, one way or another.

I thought time...would/could solve that.

When you think about it, 2 and a half months isn't a long time, maybe just see how things go for a few more weeks, then decide from there?
As with the other guy, don't jump to conclusions just yet, if she's attached to you, she wouldn't throw things away that carelessly right? Maybe the guy is just a close friend of hers. Its a lot of maybes though, so I'd be prepared to ask her who the guy is, not out of the blue, like subtly (e.g. "What you been up to?" Then slowly bring the guy into the conversation?).

I stumbled across this topic while I was browsing the forums, then I had to go out, much to my dismay. I got up to the 2nd to last Chapter, then had to go. I've just come home and read the rest. I was in your position, just on the lighter side, the girl I was with didn't sleep with anyone, just did stuff with them when I was near.
I just want to wish you good luck in the future, and I may have to add you to MSN, just so I can check how you are doing, you've got me very interested, and if my situation comes to this, I may need your help. I think everyone who has read this thread has seen the amount of pain and emotion that life brings, and how quickly this get broken. I give my kudos for you on not giving up, pushing on, you're an inspiration for a lot of us. This is one of the best and warming threads I've ever read, I've been on here for around 4 to 5 years now, so that's a big feat my friend.
I see now that you've had a rough life what with the parents splitting up and the like, but maybe things are starting to look up. As with the girlfriend thing, I think you need to give it time, spend more time with her, more phone calls, the usual. Eventually, if you don't push your feelings, you'll become attached too.
I'll be watching this thread for any more information, could you PM me or MSN me if anything new happens?

Your character being alone is probably because the game is just a gamma build. You'll probably have other Marine or Guard buddies with you, anyway.

I suppose, but the 360 would start to lag with more people. I'm not hating the 360, I've had one since release, I'm just saying I don't think EITHER console could handle it.

You're making a mistake. They balanced the game DoW, and made it crap. They make you have one super infantry unit (Eg Terms or Obliterators), a heavy tank (Eg Predator) and its just bad.
So don't patch, play normally, and don't buy Soulstorm, either that, or wait for DoW2, released soon!

I bought both Halo 3 and GTA IV. Enjoyed Halo, still have it, sold GTA about 3 weeks after buying. You'd think after playing a game for 7 hours, it would grip you, perhaps not.

It looks grinding and trying to be Ninja Gaiden.
The mini cut scenes every time you do a melee kill will get stupidly annoying, and it looks to dark. Also, if you read SM literature, they never go on there own to kill Chaos, and in a 1v1, a SM will probably lose against a Chaos Space Marine.
