I've just finished this painting and while i'm quite happy with it, i feel it could be improved. I'd like to take it to the next level so to speak ;-). I'd like to hear your ideas!

By adding depth (the chin could definitely use more shadow, i see that now) do you mean more contrast? I Always try to avoid high contrast or lines in the face/body, but maybe the shadows can be darkened a bit and the lights lightened?

Exactly, keep at it! It can be a bit discouraging starting out, but practice pays off.
What i've also found helpful when i started digital painting and drawing, was watching tutorials on youtube. There are heaps of them out there. Some crap ones too, but a lot them of provide some really good tips and tricks.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone. I'm Bojeva from Holland and i'm new here. I've been visiting Newgrounds for a long time and i really enjoy looking at all the art. As i'm an artist myself, i finally plucked up the courage to sign up as well.
