Scene : Office

Camera pans across company table, showing the faces of the board members all in deep thinking like expressions.

Suddenly a man stands up and screams "I've got it"

All the board members look at him.

Man: "Wait for it, Wait for it. This is gonna blow your minds."

Few seconds of silence.

Man: "we make a game, with zombies in it."

More seconds of silence, the board members all stare at him. Slowly smiles creep onto there faces.

Black screen, white writing. "EVERY VIDEO GAME DEVELOPER EVER"

Cuts to a person holding a game case, sobbing in the corner of his room.

Cuts to the game case. Title : EPIC ZOMBIE MMORORORPG !5!

Person kills himself.

Also cock joke.

When you save your .fla there should be a drop down box that lets you save it as a version before whichever flash you are using. Try that and tell me if it works.

Response to: Flash or PS for drawing characters? Posted May 27th, 2012 in Animation

If you want to use an external program to import characters into flash I recommend using Illustrator.

Response to: Effects! Posted May 26th, 2012 in Animation

You can make your own pixel art in Photoshop or even in Flash with the pixel tool add-on.

I would recommend this more than using pre-made animations as you can make it how you want it too look and actually be more creative in the process.

Response to: Need a vector art animator Posted May 26th, 2012 in Animation

Right place, Wrong way of going about it.

Show us what you are capable of, even if it is just a test. Then an animator is more inclined to want to work for you.

So being as though everything in the last one I made is no longer available, I'll start another one.

In this thread is sneak peeks of stuff I am working on and test animations I do.

Too start it off a picture of Arnold Rimmer from Red Dwarf. May or not be used in an animation in the near future.

If you want an example of artists stuff, why not post an example of your stuff to show what we are getting ourselves into.

Response to: Wip. Suggestions? Posted May 24th, 2012 in Animation

It's coming along fine.

Art wise : Update everything, get an artist.

Gameplay wise : There is no real challenge, there needs to be something that makes the player have to move fast. At the moment I can just move really slowly in order to get the coins. You've gotta make it so I GOTTA GO FAST then it becomes a challenge.

I'm 18 and have never released a proper animation. Just work on your art all the time and keep practicing. One day you will get that spark. Also if you're gonna compare your work with people, compare your early work with there early work, Not there new stuff.
