Saw this ages ago in some bathroom while on a road trip, never forgot it:
"Some come here to sit and think
Some come here to shit and stink
I came here to scratch my balls
and read the bullshit on the walls."
I think most people that are into gaming, at the very least, KNEW about Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics. I mean they were huge successes as far as PC RPGs go. Maybe evern Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel.
To join the Captain-Ben Fan Club you must draw and post a picture of Captain_Ben!
GOGOGOGO!!!!
Took a whack at where I thought you might go with it. I tried to incorporate the simplicity that the face has in the hair.
I'm no expert at hair, but the style of the face you have is so simple and clean that you're going to want to keep that style for the hair... what you have now for the hair is kind of a mess.

Eh, it's better with just Art Forumers there anyway. David may be a Stickam reg but he don't post here, sho 'nuff.
Shweet! Nice art.
The second post is a bit hard to make out, but I can see that you put a lot of effort and style into what you're doing. Keep it up! =D
Imo, if they can refine it so that it's not just a rehash of the last game then I'd be all for it. I enjoyed Brawl but it got old to me much faster than Melee did, maybe it was too-much-stuff fatigue... idk, but a better game would be welcome on the Wii, if not, though, no biggie.
I KNOW, RITE? HIGH FIVE BRUDDAH!
Why does everyone have to have a problem with the platform of the other guy? Can't we all just get along?
Kumbaya!
You're as lame as those smelly hippies who think they have a superior diet because they eat only bean sprouts and have foamy green shit.
I eat only panda, so suck it.
Alright, break it up, fellows.
Just try and bust my head, yo.
Interesting, to say the least, lol. It reminds me of all the crazy animations you could make in Fighter Maker back in the day. I'm guessing that those are custom, player designed animations..?
If there's something weird, and it don't look good.
Who you gonna call?

What a sad state the world is in....
Well, Spunky, you may find that the female anatomy, as illustrated here, is different than your own male anatomy. The breasts, that are present in the illustration from Black Hole (shown above) are a dead givaway. I hope this helps you in the future. =]

Pretty sure that's a lady. =P
Who out there has, out of morbid curiosity or boredom, soldiered through a horrendous game? Sure you have, I know I have.
What is the worst game you've ever beaten?
For me it would have to be DinoWarz: The Destruction of Spondylus on NES. As a kid I thought it was a decent game for $20, but it had shoddy, slow controls and was repetitive and basically pretty lame.
I'm not asking for the worst game ever, the game you choose might not even be THAT bad, just bad enough to make it the worst one you've personally gone all the way through.

i was thinking... most stupid monster... such as *grabs MM3 from shelf*
LOL, yeah, those are pretty bad, of course in a contest we'd want original ones, but those are some prime examples of stupid monsters. I don't want to get too far off of the main topic here, so I'll keep it in mind for a future contest. Of course, however, to keep you guys on your toes we'll want to come up with some twist to it. Thanks for the idea! =]
Hell, why not.

Perhaps we could get more than one contest out of something like this...
Best stupid monster? Most unfair monster?
What was your idea?

So have any of you guys read this? What do you think?
I've heard of it, it's been recommended to me by Amazon, actually. But what you just told me is what I know about it.
On this topic I find that peoples (at least in the US) are so stringent about what they are willing to accept as consumers of entertainment that a rating higher than R for movies or M for video/computer games is the "kiss of death" for that item. It's like if the movie or game has one too many violent or sexual situation then it GOES TOO FAR and suddenly is unnaceptable. I think that an artistic vision should not be reduced to a checklist of the number of times you can show or say what. As an artist it annoys the hell out of me.

I played D&D once...
I have no idea who's seen what on the interent and what's been super popular and what hasn't. If you haven't seen this, check it out, if it's really old hat then the jokes on me: Stupid D&D Monsters Someone was Paid to Make = The Best Job Ever.
I think it looks awesome and I've been quite interested in it for awhile, unfortunately it won't run well on my PC and I don't have a 360 so I'll have to wait until one of those things changes or they port it to the PS3... I'm not optimistic that any of those things will happen any time soon.
Pfft... you guys with your console hate...
I'll stick with my NeoGeo Pocket Color, thanks.

As Keith said, and in my opinion and in the opinion of the dictionary, a gamer is a person who plays games.
I get tired with all the semantics surrounding the word "gamer," it's simple: gamers play games. Someone who gets bogged down in whether or not they are a true gamer or a hardcore gamer is someone who is totally missing the point and probably isn't enjoying their hobby anymore.
