Well, lucky coincidence that one of the last pics I scanned was a fairy (It seems that I didn´t forgot this thread...), but it wasn´t meant to be posted in the forum. But then, I saw this thread bumped again, and I thought about throwing it right here. But I thinked twice and decided to make it into vector, just to see if I could make it in one evening. Well, I´ve just finished it, so I´ve failed in that... Partly because of my bad habit of making changes in the process (her hips were BIGGER in the original, honestly). So, my next cathouse sign has been delayed for that, sorry if somebody waited for it...
The original sketch was inpired by a caterpillar I found when having a walk in the country. It has vibrant colors, and a plump, soft body. I thought it could really develop into a beautiful, sexy pixy. So I drawed a pic in my notebook of a newborn fairy just brought out of the crisalid. As the crisalid were only sketched on the corner of the page, I decided not to get it into the picture and having no background only made it more out of place...
So, you can guess about why the poor little thing is all soaked-wet. She could just have finished skinny-dipping in the river or maybe she fell into the milk bucket. Who knows.

Anyway, enjoy it.

You were really discussing with Dookie about the quality compression!? I got kinda shocked because I don´t really think I do anything special with it... Photoshop does all the work. But each time I pass more time in Imageworks tweaking the quality to get some extra frames, so I´m learning about it. I remember Dook had a bad experience with an animated gif, so that´s why he seems so interested on that.

Well I´ve been able to scan some more new pictures of mine. But I´m afraid none of them are legally suited to be considered "doodles" for this thread... That´s why I beg your pardon for posting this. I made it on my sketch notepad on the Halloween night. I was very depressed thinking of my dire situation respecting my participation on this Art Forum and I started drawing without thinking much in what I was doing. This is the result and I really wanted to show it to you. Maybe it´s better suited for other doodle thread, but THIS is the only doodle thread I´ve posted and I want to keep it that way. So sorry, Dook. I apologize to you all. But anyway, look and judge it.

I think your portait is really cool. your style reflects the twisted nature of this ill-famed character. It´s not meant to be pretty, so the shaky black outlines and the cramped body are all right with this. The blurry eye is a good point. That´s disturbing, especially whe the other eye is looking directly to us.
The previosly said words didn´t work on a picture of a different kind, though.
But the tattoos on the second version don´t look right. He doesn´t need them.
Anyway, a good portrait on tradition of John Wayne Gacy. Well done.

I didn´t wanted to mean anything homsexual either. Girls, dogs and rhinos have also anus, you know. And it didn´t really matter what the ball was really made of. What I really wanted to point out is the blatant sexual aspect of your picture. The hip seems to be thrusting into the ball, look at the position of the back and the leg. And on top of that, you draw him nipples and a face that reflects pure bliss...
That´s the main point. He could be fucking furnitures, but he´s fuckin´, anyway. And that´s fuckin´ awesome, even if you didn´t want to mean that when drawing it.

Looking back at these drawings I´ve found that they really tell much about my interests, the videogames I was playing... Well, about how I was in that years. If you look closely to them you could really get to know me a little... Thing that I find somewhat frightening, but anyway...

Congratulations to the winners. They were all good submissions, but I think I must have a terrible eye for picking winners... (Where´s Jazza and Wonchop´s? They were the best, in my opinion...)

Hey, I´ve noticed what the black pet(apart from the fact that it projects shadow in a different direction than the rest of the objects in the same axis.).
It seems that it has a solid black outline. There´s nothing more in the picture with that. This is produced by that highlight from the right... changing the color of the monster or the shape of the highlight or using a less solid black would do the trick.

Oh, and you´ve become a name I´ll be looking to in this forum. Just too cool pic.

In this type of picture, the objective is to be able to make the beholder feel the creepy atmosphere. Your lineart does that perfectly. I enjoyed it so much I had to post without picture.

Maybe it needed some more designing work (I´m talking about the abstract part, you know, like framing the picture in a circle or a silhouette shape or something like that...) Maybe you should have made a more solid shape. I mean, I think the arm that shows the bra should be resting on the belly and showing us the cloth from her left waist... You could have played more with abstract design and make the pic more eye-friendly, then.

Well, after two horrible weeks, I´ve been able to post a new picture in the forum. And it happened to be my entry to the T-shirt contest. At least I think I´m on time to compete this time...
This is my fourth and last idea for a T-shirt. At this time, I think you´ve seen Tankmen, Alien Hominid, Pico, Chainsaw & Jr. , Castle Crashers and even P-bot et al. in every pose or situation imaginable. Even characters not created by the staff have multiple entries (I mean Salad Fingers, Madness guys, etc...). Is there something new left to be seen?. To be honest, my first idea was a Tank Girl and then I saw 2 or 3 of them...
Well, here´s mine. I really hope nobody had thought of that (I´m serious, I haven´t been able to see all the entries, so I´m REALLY scared!). It´s not the main character of any NG movie, but I think most of NGusers have not forgotten that joke, and maybe they´ve remembered with a nostalgic smile in their faces. (Hey, I think someone made a Cat Dynamics entry, so I´m not the only one.). I also thought this is a shirt that anybody can enjoy (Your grilfriend could wear it.), but it´s as NG as it really can be.
Have you noticed I´ve only used 3 colors? I tried to add another color, but it was all right with these. And I used the pale pink I always use for skin in a pink shirt... It looks really ill, don´t you think so? But it really draws the attention to the picture, and eventually, it really looks cool and trendy. Yep, another risky decision made...

And well, here´s another original. It turned out to come out really quick, so I´m hoping to post here more often from now on. Well the figure was drawn quick and smoothly, but the design suffered from many changes (At first, the text were vertical/horizontal mixed). Anyway, I´m not too satisfied with the blinking "N" (It didn´t turned out as well as I expected) and the colors of the frame need some retouching, but I marked the deadline for today, and I can´t afford to take all the time in the world with one picture. Learn from your errors and move on to the next one. You can´t improve if you don´t move.
Ah two things before leaving: 1-This is NOT my personal art thread, so if you come up with something good, post it right here. 2-The first three pictures turned out to be animated GIFs, but this is not mandatory, just take some effort and make a nice sexy pic!.

Is it a sexy picture for a business? Then of course that it fits here! But it´s a pity that it´s only a sketch, I´d preferred to see the finished art. Only a figure can be seen, we can´t see the shape of the banner or where is the name of the business placed.
It´s a nice drawing anyway. But it´s difficult to imagine the whole figure fitting on a banner. I liked the detail of the hands tied at her back, so I suggest you focus the attention on that feature. This is being posted as a sort of "Making-Of".
The picture in the left is a rough sketch I made from the original photo to give me an overall idea of the picture. The one in the right is kind of a "character design" I made for the Nevada Cowgirl in the Bizarro style. In the center, you can see the sketch I used to make the final picture. If you compare it to the finished picture, you can see that I had to made some changes in the details, due to the ultra-thick outline I´ve used. The situaition of head and limbs also were moved to fit the figure into a better composition.
Well, that´s all for today. I hope to see lots of good submissions to this thread! Thank you for browsing! See you!

And here is the real thing.
My first idea was to make two different pics, one was going to be a neon-banner and the other one a light-up banner. But it was giving me too much work, so I ended up merging the two ideas together.
The light-up was all drawn in CorelDRAW, but it was edited in Photoshop and ImageReady for the glowing neon effect.
All comments, suggestions and critics will be welcome... the shadow that´s projected under the neon tube when it´s turned off gives it a realistic look, but.. If the banner under it it´s supposed to give light too... How can be a shadow be projected? Well, let´s say it´s a very dim light... or not?

The theme here is to make designs for banners to put them in the front of that ill-reputation clubs, motels, pubs, massage parlors, exotic dance shows... etc, etc.
Are you up to the challenge? Do you have the legal age? Your parents aren´t watching? Good! In that case, let me give some words of advice about your soon-to-be masterpieces of the raunchy kind...

* Inspirations comes from real-life! Pimp out your local motel banner! If you do so, add some background to the post, but refrain from giving directions or adresses. We don´t want to make publicity of such places...
* Make it show some artwork. Text-only based banners are little use here (Unless you´re a master of lettering).
* Nudity is sure to be shown here, but use it in an arty or subtle way. An scandalous banner is sure to be retired by the mayor, and besides, not everybody is able to handle penis and vaginas properly...(unless you´re Stamper.)
* No photoshopping. I mean, do not post altered or retouched photos. (unless you´re retarded and you aren´t been able to understand a simple sentence...)
* Make them sexy! (unless you want me to kill you.)

Understood? Well, if so, then it´s my turn to make an example!
But my first post is going to be an exception. I´ve asked permission to an admin (Thanks MindChamber!) to post a photo here, in the first post. Hey, don´t flame me yet. you will understand it in the second post...

This is the banner of the Nevada Club located in a town near the city of León. I see this banner every day from the bus when I go to give private english classes to my kid students... C´mon, have a look at it. It´s rather ugly, isn´t it? But it´s so kinky that I´ve fallen in love with it... I assure you that that town doesn´t look at all to the far west or even an north-american town... I don´t know in what was really thinking the owner... Is Nevada famous for its whores or something? Never heard of such thing... Maybe he wanted something to give it a Las Vegas-like look... kinda.
The photo is not very good quality, but I had to take it from the other side of a wide road, because the banner is located at a first floor level. I couldn´t make a second one ´cause a scary-looking guy who parked in front of the club started to look at me in a suspicious way... I thought it was better to live for fighting another day. And then, the bus ran off in front of me, so I had to wait 40 minutes for the next one...

I liked to read that background story. It´d have worked as a good introduction text to your pic. Anyway, I felt really ashamed of my words and I still feeling that way... That day I had a look in the forum and I realised that you can find too often people that steals or cheats pictures on purpose. I can´t bear with that behaviour, so I got very saddened. So, when I write that comments, I knew that the picture was yours, but I had doubts about if that was a real doodle or a really worked-out drawing made in the safety of your room. And so, the bitter feelings from my past discovery slipped into the comments I´d made to your picture. And, even worse, I realised that when I finished writing it. And after thinking it for a while, I decided to post it anyway.
