I like this picture. And the flash looks reealy sweeet.

By the way... my toy is the Rambo III version. It was most iconical of the three: red bandanna and naked
torso, showing his trademark scars.

Hey, I've wanted to make a thread like this for a loong, long time... But I was going to give it a kinky twist. No matter now, this one will fit perfectly.
Just post some art fast, because the Art Forum rules specify that you have to upload some art of yours in the starting post, so try to upload something quick in order this thread not to be locked.
Better it be fast, I think I'm going to love this thread.

Great revival, Dook!
Your portraits are coming up great, and I love how you get to make a whole bunch of them in so little time.
This is not a small feat, and I got to realize how much have you improved since the times you were an Art-O-Holic. You're excellent, man. Congratulations.

1) You´re really late to the party and you didn't even brought a present. Everybody already knows that Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge is a movie about homosexuality and self-discovery. But the movie is CRAMMED with gay references/imagery... And you only come with a photo?
Seek further...
2) What has this to do with the Art Forum? Wait. I'm gonna stop before writing somthing that I could repent later...

Response to: Doubles Showdown 3 -Voting Thread Posted July 18th, 2008 in Art

1st - MindChamber & mynamewontfitin
Bold but fresh lineart from the 'Chamber. The arrow-hair idea is lovely. Excellent coloring by mynamewontfitin. Just great.

2nd - FetusDoctor - AwesomeSaurus
You would´t notice that each character has been drawn by a different artist... Excellent teamwork here. The best aspect of this piece is the coloring, that brush strokes emphasizes the violence of the fight.

3rd - Zurak - Henry-Nougat
Cute drawing and simplicity are the best points of this picture. The monster has better design than the kid knight but the art is consistent. The coloring on the figures is good, but the background effects are a tad overdid. But it's a nice submission anyway.

I hope the next time I'll be able to get into this, because I've got my hands somewhat full right now...
I'll be expecting next rounds and try to vote if possible. Nice collab!

Well... On my shitty cheap-ass cable pack a new kiddy channel has been thrown in. And now I watch this series every morning (sometimes even in the evenings.). Today I was able to watch even the songs. Goddamit, it was really harsh to endure that. But I'm getting stronger.
So, today I've drawn this (No reference... Did I blew something?). I'm thinking of doing a cross-over with Rainbow Brite... with some hot girlie action of course.
Well, I'm done. What do you think of it?

That´s because this is the first one I post using my new technique: No lines. The colored outlines are objects. I´ve got a bunch of drawings (product of a failed project) made like that (I used one as my sig.). I´m happy that you liked it so much!

You've inspired me to make another one!

That would make me even happier!

Why don't more people comment on this awesome thread and submit work to it? Your quality is just too high. You are too good, no one wants to be so out-shown.

I'm reanimating this again!
(But Hammi seems not liking people bumping old threads ;D)
I started this one waay much ago. But I was unsatisfied with the logo, so I put it to sleep until now.
I´ve been too self-critic to myself, so my submissions came to a stop. Now I´m trying to be more indulgent with myself, so I can make posts again. I´ve got another one half-baked, so, hopefully, I´ll be here again soon...
Well, anyway, this one is dedicated to Nacco!
Do you see what I was talking about? I was tempted to make it only with neon tubes, like yours, but it could´ve looked somewhat messy. I also tried quick blinks, but it was quite annoying.
I made the figure (Ooooh, that guitar... It was referenced.) a couple of months or so ago, but I went through a lot of trouble with the logo. Anyway, I´m sure both logo and figure could've been done better, but, as I told before, I thought that there's a moment you have to say "enough"...
Hope you like it. Remember, you gave me the idea.
