The studio/company is "Kama-Mara LLC", correct? Just want to make sure I got it right.

Good luck to the winners, losers, ProudAardvark and midimachine.
Good luck to the losers?!?!? What does that mean?!?!? lol
I live nowhere near the West Coast.
I live nowhere near the East Coast.
I propose a new genre -- No Coast electric avant-garde post-funk trip hop.
I believe that posting an advertisement in the "Voice Actors Wanted" thread, as I can see you've already done, is the recommended course of action for your situation, but please don't make a separate thread about it as well.

The third review is supposed to be Birdinator's and the second should be aliaspharow's, rather than the second being Birdinator's and the third being ProudAardvark's.
8/10 --> 7/10 -_- downgraded
Tough way to go -- so many good songs! Congratulations to ProudAardvark!
I'll be sure to give each of the final songs a lengthy review :)
We should wait for Aliaspharow to finish up -- if we were prepared to give Aardvark a whole day, we could atleast give Aliaspharow a couple hours.

Here you are.
Exporting as a 24 bit .WAV gave me an annoying sound/buzz that played during part of the song, so I tried normalizing the bass, because that's where I heard the problem. It didn't do anything -- should I remove compression when normalizing? Should I normalize all my tracks if I plan to normalize at all?
When exporting a pre-master, it has been suggested to me to do so as a 32 bit .WAV file. My options only let me go to 24 bits -- is there much of a difference in quality between the two types? Does another option affect quality more than bits?

Oh yeah, 'cause that's so weird :p

When doing the initial mix, do NOT worry about the loudness of the overall mix, that comes with mastering. Important thing with mixing is making sure nothing sounds muddy, and that there isn't any/much clashing between instrumentos.
Damnit, that's how I do it. I tried exporting my mix by itself (no master FX) to master it in a separate project file one time, but when I listened to the exported, untouched mix first, it sounded worse than when it was in the original project file. I thought that adding any processing at that point might mess it up further, so I stopped right there. Should I be exporting my mix differently?

I alredy download the FL studio ;D and works good n_n
Cool. Good luck to you, then.
Wow, I'm glad I improved on the mixing part again, and for the most part, I agree with all the suggestions that were given.
See you next round!

A lot of people use FL Studio here. Not me personally, but I've heard good things, y'know?

Hey guys, I just wanted to apologize to anyone who feels like my presence here at this point in the contest was unfairly earned. I have nothing but appreciation for all the judges, participants, and others who helped organize this. I really enjoy being able to learn new things from you guys and improve my skills.
Believe me, under normal circumstances I wouldn't be here, but since I am, I'm trying my best to take advantage of the opportunity, and I just wanted to say thank you for it. Win or lose next round, it's been a blast.

Deadline snuck up on me, jeez.
Still trying new things -- will improve if necessary.
I'm pretty ahead of schedule -- should be able to post a WIP in a few days.

Hey, no problems here. I still need to get used to my new headphones a little. Stuff's starting to sound real good on 'em now -- should help control my bass levels/EQ, too.
At 9/30/11 10:22 PM, midimachine wrote: Have you listened to other music in them yet?
Oh yeah, of course, but not for very long -- only a couple of days. I'm making sure to listen to a wide variety of stuff to try and get a good feel for them.
The bass is the strangest part for me so far; not as powerful as my old headphones, but I guess that's good because it allows other frequencies to even things out. Flatness = clarity, right?

You mean like break them in? I haven't been listening very long at all on them, but I guess my ears will adjust to them.
My current stuff sounds like crap on them, so here's hoping I'll improve a lot, eh? Maybe not ear-gasms at first...

Ah, this looks great -- definitely taking a look at this.

Well, it was a birthday gift, but I believe it cost $300 before taxes. Easily returnable though, but they do sound quite clear. Good reviews from external websites and the like.
Seriously though, just got these:

Anybody familiar with these or similar pairs? They sound pretty flat on most things I've listened to so far; good for producing?
