I know it's night, but I still think they should be a little more contrasted from the background.

Hopefully when i get the other colours in it will look better :3 the highlights will cover most of that base colour. Thanks for the crit ^_^

I think her shirt and the creature ( dragon? ) should be slightly brighter. Also I think it would look better with the eyes a different color than the skin.

It's just a very simple base colour. Haven't done the eyes or highlights yet. It's just so i know the basic colour of it. Also it's night in the picture if that helps set the scene a little :3

We are actually doing a short photography course in with the art stuff. Point and click is fun :D

Your style reminds me a lot of Akira Toriyama's work. Which I love :3

I thought it was self explanatory but apparently not. I ment if there is an art contest to get into the book i will defiantly take part.

It looks good so far :3 but I wouldn't say it looks finished. Like what was said before me, it needs some darker colours. It doesn't seem to draw much attention, it's a little flat and boring. But it can be fixed quite easily. Just define the shadows more. Look at some references of similar pictures to see where the light bounces and shadows are cast.
That's pretty much all the advice I can give since i am still learning how to properly define a picture.

But I'm looking forward to seeing more :D

I've started college now so now new stuff yet. I'm going to try and update this thread with some art today some time if I can. Or anything interesting I do at college.
:So far all we've done is stuck loads of cut up pictures of the cathedral on to an A3 piece of paper and drawn random parts of it. If anyones interested i could post it I guess..
