The mouth is blurred unneccesarily. I mean, why is it the only thing blurred? It boggles the old noggin.

Response to: The Kirby Collab Posted November 27th, 2009 in Game Development

try to model him after the kirby 64 dedede, thats the best version imo. just grab a picture and put it in flash so you can see it while you're drawing.

inverting colours with a vcam...? Posted November 25th, 2009 in Game Development

I was wondering how to invert colours in flash using a vcam. I assume you change the advanced colour settings of the vcam, but if thats the case then what do i set everything to? thanks.

dude did you read anything the aprouch is "cartoony"

No, It doesnt look cartoony. Most cartoons nowadays are far cleaner than that. One i can think of with thick lines is fairly oddparents, but thats just the outside. You draw sloppy, gelatinous, and unprofessional looking. If you want to have a bold outline like that, then do it all with the small brush and then add a black glow filter with maximum strength and low blur. trust me, I used to use the big brushes too. Once you use the smaller brush your animations will look EXPONENTIALLY better. I'd listen to the ng community if I were you. For the most part we know what we're talking about, and its usually you who is wrong about something, not us. Your style isnt cartoony. I'd say it looks identical to every flash newcomer on here. listen to us, You don't have enough experience to know what you're talking about. Also this little test was unworthy of a post, If you want attention for your little milestones then show your family.

So, How many people are drawing freehand for their parts? cuz I was thinking... some of the sprite people could just redraw the kirby spritesheet and then their part would be drawn...?

mariokart ds anyone? Posted October 29th, 2009 in General

I wanna play Mario kart DS with newgrounds! I don't think friend codes are needed because I went on worldwide on wifi connection and there was absolutely noone there. so just select worldwide in wifi mode and theres a 99.9% chance we'll face eachother. If friend codes are needed then just ask. Ready? go!

well, Ive pretty much done everything i can do with the publish settings to make the sound crystal clear. the quality is perfect... but it crackles. does this have anything to do with the type of audio file?
