I recently got into making music, and I plan to practice and make a few more things, experimenting, looking around and finding software, vst's and mixing equipment, but I need a few tips, most of my help I get on YouTube guides and independent websites built to help but I'm left blank on a few things.
What are good VST's (Free or not, it doesn't matter) for an electric guitar, bass, and some strings, like double bass or even violin.
For the bass and electric guitar VST, I was looking for a realistic and a electro sound, or a vst that has a large variety of manual modulation.

And a question on artist names, when you decide to choose whatever name to be, is it legal for it to be a name of a song or movie, or a quote?
Say an artist with the name of, "Brass Monkey" appeared, for example, would he need to consult anybody on getting the name officially finalized?

Or maybe a more simple/easy question to answer would be what CAN'T you be?

A very big thanks to whoever answers this, it's been on my mind for quite a while now.

I'm not quite sure who to contact about stolen flashes, because there aren't "flash mods" so I'm posting these on the BBS for anyone who might know.

Thanks, my biggest concern was whether I had to touch it to draw, at my school when you hover over it, it draws.
I didn't think I could trust that because of old tablets, old software and old computers. I figured there might've been something wrong.

And that's a good suggestion!

So recently I acquired some extra cash and something I've been meaning to get for a while is a drawing tablet, so I have 2 questions.

Do you have to touch the tablet with the pen for it to draw, or do you just hover over it?
And what is the best to get in a 150 - 250 dollar range?

I was thinking of getting the wacom bamboo tablet for 100, but I'm not quite sure..

I concerned by you, man. It feels as if you get a personal sense of accomplishment when people need help. And for things that weren't that difficult in the first place.
