Yeah, I guess it can be tricky in that respect...

I'd love to have blue toilets!
We used to have pot plants and photos in my old school to spiffy 'em up a bit too lol what you need is a headteacher with some creative flair!
Although apple green is a good colour for toilet stalls too...

at my school they have them in bright yellow and surgical pink. ugh xD

I think the coal would be a lot darker, as referenced here.

Also, maybe try and look at how the light from the fire would reflect on the dragon's scales

M-Vero You should make the stall doors more neutral. iunno about anyone else but the stalls i've used are usually pale grey/blue colour, plus it hurts my eyes just lookin at it, and black'd stand out better on a paler colour

Response to: Art Forum Group Shot Posted November 27th, 2009 in Art

M-Vero ah ok, thats cool then : )
I guess it'll look way better anyways if you do it all, plus it's always good to have a challenge.
Honestly can't wait to see it finished though

I'd say the finished product will have roughly 60 people in it, so I'm about a third the way done(I still gotta retouch some of the sketches)

Are you gonna be colouring it as well?
oh man i just had an idea - if people want they could each colour themselves to make it into a collaborative piece, then you could put it all together which should be simple enough. Plus it'd mean less work for you if you were gonna colour it an' all : )

Response to: Ng Levels Art Collab Posted November 27th, 2009 in Art

lol i'm feeling tempted to do another one maybe once i've finished this one [which i've probably overdone quite a bit actually...]

I don't know if I should make it golden or dark aura...

That pic just looks like you went and smudged in highlights, which never looks good unless it's tight leather.
If i were you i'd spend more time on getting it looking way neater and try and find a reference for those crazyass long forearms you got going there

Response to: Demons! Let's draw em! Posted November 13th, 2009 in Art

looks cool
i'd recommend smoothening out your lines and using some line weight - looks like you've sketched in black when inking, which is never really a good idea for lines : )

agreeing with J-qb.
You could also use the eraser on the end of a pencil to add some highlights to his armour and make it more shiny, plus it'd help to define the form a bit more : )

To be honest if you're wanting useful c&c you'd better be willing to work for it and not just do some rushed job that you aren't serious about. It's like offering to sell your art with crappy examples and saying the real thing'll be much better; we want proof of your topic-worthy skills
