Here is my entry for round 1, I was planning on recording a voice over over the track but I could not do it within the deadline due to being on vacation/working/lapotop breaking.

I'll probably upload a version with a voice over somewhere in the future.

is bossmusicstore.com a scamsite? Posted April 25th, 2014 in Audio

I'm thinking of buying a new bass guitar and it is BY FAR the cheapest on this site:

But I don't really trust the site, does someone have experience with it? Is it a scam site or a real one?

Thanks

Even though starting a video portal may seem like a shot in the dark because of giants like youtube and vimeo. I still think it would be interesting to see a video page for the Newgrounds community. Maybe with some strict rules to avoid a crapflood.

Response to: Violin difficulty. Posted January 21st, 2014 in Audio

I play Guitar, Drums, Trumpet, French Horn, Bass, Upright Bass, Piano, Cello and Violin and I find the Violin the hardest one of all. Mostly because of the precise "fretting", even if you move your finger sideways by just a bit ,the pitch will not be perfect anymore.

I can save myself from sounding badly a lot by using lots of vibrato and slide my finge from the "wrong" note to the right note, much like how you bend a wrong note to the right note when playing blues on a guitar. Luckily for me, playing with lots of vibrato is one of the things which makes you sound more like a musician then someone who plays a song without any feelings or emotions.

Personally I like the sound of the cello just a bit more then the violin but that's just a matter of taste, the cello is also a bit easier to play.

Response to: Looking for violinist! Posted January 18th, 2014 in Audio

Maybe I can records it for you, violin is by far not my best skill but perhaps I can record it. Just send me a preview of the track and I´ll look into it.

I'm looking for someone who has experience in games for the iPad and Android to create a game with me.
The game is an updated version of an old flash game of mine: Run Soldier Run

Back in the day the game was received very positive by everyone and I think if we expanded the game and release it for tablets that it could be fairly succesful.

The new things in the game will be:

- Better Graphics (the game was made 6 years ago)
- Different characters (including weird ones like a monkey for which you have only 5% of them popping up)
- The soldiers will talk and react to things that are happening in a comedic style
- Different levels/backgrounds as you get further

With the new things added to game I think it will be more of a comedic experience combined with arcade gameplay.

I'm looking for someone with experience and who is seeing potential to make this game.

We will split payment 50/50.

Hello Newgrounds,
I'm really busy focusing on my music nowadays, I'm currently recording my own blues songs and working on a small film project for a friend of mine.

I'm looking for some more composing to do like in flash movies or games so If you got a project running and you need some music just contact me :)

I can play the guitar, trumpet, contrabass, bass guitar, piano, drums, harmonica and co additional strings and electronics with my keyboard.
My style varies from Film Noir Jazz to Rock,Blues,Classical and Film score but I'm willing to do any genre.

Response to: What's So Great About Radiohead? Posted May 27th, 2013 in General

They did a lot of experimental stuff which always gives people mixed feelings because they think its either to experimental or not experimental enough for their taste.

Never the less, No Surprises can make a grown man cry like an infant.

As an album Like Swimming is pretty weak in comparison to any other of their catalogue, but damn, Lilah is an incredible opener.

True, I love how it is an echo of a song that was not even made yet.
The song Like Swimming itself is actually one of my favorite morphine songs along with Slow Numbers and the I Know you parts.
