I mostly hear bad things about RCT3 and from the looks of it, it's a good thing I'm giving it a miss. RCT2 on the other hand, I wouldn't mind getting sometime. After all, I did see a deal for that, Theme Hospital and Sim City 3000 for £15 so that's something to look into sometime after Christmas.

Indeed, the Oblivion at Alton Towers is puny in comparison to it. Amazingly enough, any vertical roller coasters with a similar design to that will have an intensity rating of around 8.50 - 9.50 and not ultra extreme as I originally predicted.
That's odd. I always thought the intensity ratings had everything to do with vertical and horizontal G's and it seems your coaster must have high ratings on those.

Read it and weep.

This is what I found funny about the game. They always comment on how cheap the park fee is (even if it's over £50) but often complain about the ride expenses.

At 11/19/09 11:03 PM, Ronald-McDonald-LoL wrote: A good tip is, build the one "shuttle loop" steel roller coaster. That thing is a profit machine, charge $2.00 for a ride.

Yes, this is what I did with almost every park I went through. These are definitely good to build up money. However, I always went with £2.50 - £3 at first and then lower the prices whenever the guests started complaining about the expenses. Now I really want to get back to this game and see what happens when I build lots of shuttle-powered roller coasters.

I always research thrill rides first since they seem to make loads of money...

Heh, researching roller coasters is always my top priority unless I need certain shop stalls or could do with more gentle/thrill rides for some diversity.

Yeah, I unlocked this after beating all the original scenarios. I've never spent a fair amount of time in Mega Park as I felt I had enough fun with all the levels I went through. Despite that, I still find it to be a nice bonus for those who put a lot of effort into beating each and every scenario the original game provided.

Yeah either that or you simply beat the level once you've met those requirements. I believe that's what they did in the third version of the game.

Yep, that's what Loopy Landscapes had along with the same type of scenario objectives as the previous sets. However, those type of scenarios had infinite money and only had funding fixed to normal rather than maximum, so there was no control over what type of rides/attractions you wanted, thus taking longer to get new stuff or even anything worth using. It took me 7 game-time years to beat Arid Heights because of this.

Another similar objective for the scenarios in Loopy Landscapes was beating it with a certain amount of different roller coasters with a high excitement rating. Razor Rocks is one of my favourite levels out of the whole of RCT1 where you need to build 10 different roller coasters with an excitement rating of at least 6.00. The park gave you more than enough space to build these rides. Infact, I loved this level so much that one save I had ages ago went as far as 20 years!

Lol at that vertical coaster xD

Indeed, the Oblivion at Alton Towers is puny in comparison to it. Amazingly enough, any vertical roller coasters with a similar design to that will have an intensity rating of around 8.50 - 9.50 and not ultra extreme as I originally predicted.

I've always seen this has the main downfall to these games. Each year takes roughly an hour so beating a 4-year scenario would take 4 years. Haha, that has to be the biggest kick in the nuts when playing this game. I've tried making some epic coasters before but they often failed and were too intense for 99% of the guests. I'm much better off making short-medium length coasters than longer ones. Also, I have this rule where I either have a mechanic taking care of one roller coaster or only have one train per ride to prevent crashes, so epic coasters aren't really ideal for me. I really hate it when I lose guests as a result of that and have a terrible park rating.

Still, Roller Coaster Tycoon is a fantastic game and one of my all-time favourite PC games. I was playing through all the scenarios in the original pack earlier this year and had fun beating them, even Rainbow Valley. I still need to get back to the game and go through Loopy Landscapes.

I'm just saying, 2011 is such an ugly year though as opposed to 2012.

On second thought, after seeing what we're getting in 2010, 2011 may look rather empty. I mean, we're to get new albums by the following artists:

Accept
Angra
Anthrax
Blind Guardian
Burzum
Elvenking
Fear Factory
Judas Priest
Iron Maiden
Manowar
Motörhead
Rhapsody (yes, they're back!)
Symphony X

That just makes 2010 one hell of a year for heavy metal. Still, we should wait and see what 2011 has to offer before truly judging it.

That sounds odd indeed. It didn't seem like he had much effort to put into it though, and to be honest it also seemed he put less and less effort in the flashes as the series proceeded. I was expecting at least some special episodes on the legendary Pokemons and at the start of a new generation, but he just moved on. That was slightly disappointing imo.

As much as I supported the series, I could have lived without it happening in the first place. Then again, if it weren't for those flashes, Pokemon Bahamut Version would have never been made and that's my best flash.
I haven't seen all your work (yet), but I remember Pokemon Bahamut Version was indeed one of your best projects thus far.

Yes, I put more effort into that flash than the others and I'm happy with it. Infact, I fixed a few things on it a while ago as well as finally giving it API.

We need to give him some time. After all, he must be kicking people in da nuts 5000000000000000 kajillion times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lol, you mean like this? :p

That's the spirit! Infact, there was even a few photoshops of them but only by Afro_Stud.

It's far too soon to even think that. All I'm doing right now is looking forward to the day their new album comes out. 2010 is looking good so far with new Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Symphony X. There's likely to be more stuff to look forward to as well so I can't wait until 2010!

Good, good.

See, what did I tell you? My name is back to Bahamut...But for how long? Heh, if I do change my name to something else, chances are I'll have gone back to Bahamut by the time you reply to this.

Indeed, the game seems to be doing well right now but I gotta play it myself and see how awesome it is. I'm sure it will be, though.
Grooveh. Have you (played it yet, that is)? I haven't talked to you about it on Steam in a month or two, so apparently this is our most recent convo about it now (whodathunkit... a current and relavent convo between teh Bahamut and teh gfox... on NG of all places?!?!? (gasparoni!)).

Nope, I haven't even played it yet. However, my sister has played it and beaten it well before I even had a chance to even touch it. She said it's the best game she's played since MGS4 so my expectations are high, despite the RTS elements we were never aware of until the game was released.

I hope there's an option to not choose either then.
I can't believe I tried facebook, my greater of the two evils... before I tried WOW, my lesser of the two evils.

Isn't this something?

The good news is, I don't find facebook that addicting. I haven't been on in.... 5 days.

That's good. I sometimes check the latest stuff said and then go elsewhere.

Yeah, FFVIII's pretty weak and I have to agree with almost everything said by Spoony. <---LINK

I'm glad you agree. :)

That was unintended but OK.
That makes it all the more entertaining that it happened. #;-}>

Indeed, TF2 quotes become more and more fun to use.

Thanks for the update Wylo.

It's rather slow right now but I'll be passing TheDepthsOfHell on Sunday assuming he doesn't deposit until then. After him, I have bmxgamer who is also inactive but will be more of a challenge going by his EXP changes on my updates.

Meh, it's Trivium, what do you expect? However, I don't know if they stole anything else in Shogun.

Wow, I guess I do pay enough attention to trendy music. I thought I was completely out of the loop with what's popular these days. Then again, I must have read enough about these genres in here.

First of all, if either of those two accounts are alts of each other, it would be gfox being an alt of gfoxclock. gfox was made in 2004, gfoxclock was made in 2003. How gfoxclock could be gfox's alt, I have no idea. O_o

We always refer you to gfox.

Second of all, gfox is not gfoxclock's alt, it's gfoxcook's alt, same as gfoxclock.

That's what I was trying to say to Haggard.

Yeah - Wylo updated the VP list and it came true! DrMSM passed me, reaching 14.00 Total VP, which is annoying >:(

I almost thought he passed me but it turns out he already had more VP than me, so no rank down for me. :) However, it does mean less chance of passing him.

Then again, I don't really like it when I see users with more EXP than me coming back to deposit. I mean, bila gained 10 EXP since the previous update!!
O.o That's a whole day more before I can pass him!

Same here but a single deposit from then until you pass him isn't much of a big deal. If it's depositing all the time, then I become sad.
