SORRY GUYS,

i need it in AS2, forgot to mention that :p

random tip generator? Posted January 25th, 2012 in Game Development

in the menu i want a random tip generator, i've made a movie clip with different movie clips inside that display tips..

but after the animation, i need it to go to a random frame (inside of my movieclip).

does anyone know how i might go about doing this? or what the script is?

Response to: [As2] Held down key, animation loop Posted January 23rd, 2012 in Game Development

at the last frame of your attack animation (inside movie clip) type in on the last frame:

_root.gotoAndStop("idle");

idle = the mc of your idle pose

and on your idle frame (not inside idle movie clip) type in:

stop();
help as2!! Posted January 23rd, 2012 in Game Development

what i'm asking is a little hard to explain, so bare with me.

i need a script for my game that when i push a button (T) it performs an action with a hit test in the animation, when the hit markers hit, it is supposed to add health but it doesn't. anyone know?

onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
if (_root.tbag, hitTest(_root.tbag2)) {
_root.health++
}
}

(or something like that, i don't remember... the game is at home)

That's only bullshit they teach drivers because of all the fucking retarded pedestrians who try to cross when they aren't supposed to, and even then, it only really applies to parking lots, since, you know, everywhere else has standardized ways for pedestrians crossing.

On a side note, your dubstep problems have nothing to do with FL Studio.

lol i see, thanks

I've recently got serious about fl studio and know little about it, same with the plug ins.
