I like the clarity of most the electro/house tracks I've heard, but damn you could fall asleep inbetween each kick hit. It's so painfully slow for me most of the time.

A4A tends to rape your entire system whenever the buffer overloads (processing power, affects the whole pc).
Is it full duplex or not?
Does this insane lag happen if you'd set the buffer to 8k samples?
Also is the lag as extreme if you run everything with multithreading enabled?
I'm running a DX based full duplex ASIO driver and it beats the crap out of A4A on my intergrated card.
I never lag at all with it. :S

I actually recreated this problem just now. got into Options / Audio settings and change your sound driver to "primary sound driver" and then export the song. I also found that sometimes fl (the sound engine anyway) will crash if you tick "dither" on and off from the export window. So review your export settings.
Try this and see if it helps, it stopped my problem. if not then shoot me a pm and I'll try and fix it for you.
On another note, isn't it lovely that absolutely no one counters my "rants"? :(

That's not really true, but I might be one of the very few that aknowledge these flaws however. I've heard countless of tracks that suffer from the problem I depicted, and quite ironically they were all made (or atleast exported) in/with FL studio...
It'd be perfectly valid that my music didn't sound like I wanted it to thanks to lack of practise or knowledge....
However what is NOT valid is when the problems are actually caused by the DAW and not the producer. That's whats causing my frustration.

Dam, I just snapped my headphones for the third time. It seems they are approaching the end of their line (5 years in service).
I'm clueless as what to do know, I know these headphones like the back of my hands, and I haven't to this date found one single pair that sounds nearly as good.
I know them so good infact that I can make a kickdrum on them and be 95% certain that it sounds just as I want it to sound on a bigger system
