Response to: How can you acquire a record label? Posted October 31st, 2006 in Audio

Connection can't do to much if your music "owns the living crap out of a fridge".

Well the probability that a label will come to YOU (I'm speaking in general now) ain't big at all...However you can go to sites such as Discogs and look up labels. Then when you find something that interests you, just send them a reference to your work and hope for a response.

Try to export them as WAVs instead and use another converter to convert them into mp3. That might fix your problem.

I had that problem to, and it was caused by LAME encoder that basicly turned my mp3's into maniacs that killed my computor :(.

Anyway just try, i dont know if it'll help though

Send your shit of to a label and hope they like it ;-).

Response to: What makes a song "good"? Posted October 25th, 2006 in Audio

Theres no special answer since it has to do with SELF improvement, which only you can do on your own.
Standing out, is always good
Having you own specific sound.
and so on...
If not you could always touch yourself at night :D.

And a GOOD track on NG is GOOD anywhere, it's not like NG has specific standards from the outer world.

Just a question...How many other programs do you have running in your memory?

Because you have slightly better specs than me, and my CPU meter barely goes over 5%...WITH a fully loaded flp.

:S:S

Doesn't Hypersonic have donwloadable panflute sounds?

Search for "78.5 meg soundfont" on google. It has an awesome panflute

I meant that fls standard equipment aint nearly as good as for example "waves diamond bundle"

Response to: How do I reset mastering on a track Posted October 20th, 2006 in Audio

Hmmm, the included tools aint good if compared to the real deals :/

Response to: How do I reset mastering on a track Posted October 20th, 2006 in Audio

If you have been recomended I'd really want to hear what "recomended" mastering plugins you use ;-).

Response to: How do I reset mastering on a track Posted October 20th, 2006 in Audio

Set all presets to "Default". I'd not reccomend mastering in fl though, it simply doesn't have enough good tools (To come with that is) :P use Wave Lab or something for that.

And also....Use a spectrum analyzer to see how any inaudiable frequencies behave.
IE: If you have a suspicious bass boost at 20HZ but your own speaker set can't go that low, that means I could prolly not listen to ur track since my own speakers go below 20 hz.

A spectrum is one of your best friends when mastering ;) (Always put it last in the chain too. "If you put 1 first too you can see the difference in frequency ranges of your mastering")

Response to: Vanguard With Fruity Loops? Posted October 17th, 2006 in Audio

It all comes down to how you use the specific plugin anyway.

And if you wanted to know, i stopped using vanguard a long time ago :P.

Response to: Sidechain and Granulizer wanted! Posted October 17th, 2006 in Audio

Well you can basicly sidechain in anything that lets you route several stuff into the same compressor before they reach the output.

Response to: The Search Begins>>> Posted October 17th, 2006 in Audio

Sound of my dream is a purchasable acapella, If you pay for it you also get the right for the track which gives me 100% right to call it whatever i want. I didn't check this out but i figured this has to do with someone stealing my track...I dunno if i should be flattered or pissed.
And i could bet that im one of the few who legally owns those acapellas...

G2G ill be back l8a to post the rest :P

Actually Vanguard is VERY easy to use, so is pro 53. I'd rather go for V station or Legacy though since they could totally bbq z3ta...Atleast legacy can.

VanGuard = Easy to use and Easy on your CPU
Z3ta = Pretty Easy if you know all the controllers, VERY versatile.Kinda CPU heavy
V Station = Moderate, but very versatile.NOT necessarily CPU heavy
Legacy = Omfg Prepare to waste a month to get a great Lead out fo this..It actually took me a while to learn. VERY CPU heavy.
