The crossovers happen to be the most brilliant ever, with storytelling that some people wish were on for a real RPG mario type game. This is what brought him to his fame. The sprites make it have it's own style which works with the story. Why some people hate it, like you, boggles the mind.

I hope he comes back after realizing what he just did. He said it himself on his deviantART: "I wanted to work on it in my own time on top of earning a decent honest living". He is focusing way off of this and worrying with aggravation on spammers/complaints/comments that he just quit like this. I hope he learns from his mistake and come back. Otherwise he will eventually come to this point again after whatever else he does next. Do not let others try to destroy your own work, otherwise, you are the fool.
