Well what would be fun is to find other talented local Audio artists in my area and throw a big ol' party where people get to play their stuff. Perhaps if (and I dont mean to sound like a snob) if we could round up the exceptionally talented local Newgrounders, we might be able to do a night at a club somewhere.

I know that everyone on here works really hard on their music and it could be useful for people to meet up and collaborate and have some fun.

Hey everyone! I am just curious as to how many Newgrounds people (Specifically people who produce music) are from Chicago or the surrounding area.

Ok so we all know that just about 99.9% of everyone who submits a song has done it on Fruity Loops. I feel kinda in-different about the program myself. I have heard some people fucking rock it to death and they swear by it. Then there are the not so good people using it.

I started out using that program 4 years ago when I first started to produce music. I quickly found that there were better programs out there. By "better" I mean better sound, better interface and faster work flow. The biggest thing about switching away from FL is the fact that your work sounds 10 times more professional. (at least thats my opinion)

Right now I am working with Ableton Live and Reason connected through ReWire. I have some Roland Studio Monitors that bump pretty well. I have an AKAI MPC 2000XL, Yamaha DX7, E-mu Board 99 midi keyboard, some other generic Yamaha keyboard with some good sounds. EPS digital sampler, Behringer dual channel compressor/gate. And then there is a bunch of other smaller stuff but I am sick of typing.

So whats up Newgrounds? What is in your studio?
