That ending was crazy. I didn't expect it at all. Also I finished Touch of Evil and I must say I was a tad bit disappointed. Everything just seemed a bit boring except for the camera angles which at times were very well done.

I'd say one of two
either I am the walrus-for its random lyrics
or Helter Skelter- due to.....well you know
The Beatles and grunge? That just seems like a weird comparison.

Art Carney won Best Actor in a Leading Role for Harry & Tonto beating out, Al Pacino for The Godfather II, Dustin Hoffman for Lenny, Jack Nicholson for Chinatown, and Albert Finney for Murder on the Orient Express.
That's quite a roster to beat out and especially for those movies.
That is, I may have to watch that sometime soon then. My next Registry film is Touch of Evil! One of the last classic noir films from the classic era I am eager to watch this. The version I am watching is the 1976 Alternate Version I believe.

Anytime! I wish you good luck on earning that extra $10, I'm sure you'll do it quick.

Oh, a mod of some sort though?
Looks like a good blend of comedy and action. I'll watch it once it's out.
I agree with you on everything Tom except with the disc thing. I kinda like my discs but will with time give them up, slowly very slowly.

I though he was a mod. Wasn't he?
It's been $100 for as long as I have been here.

I must say near the end of The Bride of Sacrifice I wanted Susan to just leave. The Aztecs are IMO one of the worst serials, it just bored me out of my mind.
When you get to "The Dalek invasion of earth" tho... that's the best by far
The Aztecs had its moments but was quite boring a good bit of the time. I have three more serials to finish before that, I look forward to it though.
Since I am home today I have decided to knock out two National Film Registry films in one day. The first one I will watch is Chinatown!
Like Dean said Mass Effect (Series) and FTL immediately come to mind. One other space game I haven't played but looks amazing is Artemis.
I can't think of any awful games I really enjoyed lately but I used to play Sneak King a good bit. I thought that game was hilarious. You have to surprise people with their Burger King food as the BK King.
I haven't had any Steam problems lately. Still experiencing the issue?
I would play that. I love Fallout and having it set in a dungeon crawler style would be awesome.
You can always just export your game and then make a .zip folder and put the game in there yourself.
Finished "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre" just a few minutes ago. It was a very interesting film and my first Humphrey Bogart film. He himself played the role great and the cast in general was pretty good. I thought the old man Howard to be a great character. I must say I am really glad I started this Film Registry marathon as the first two films have been pretty good.

Sounds like I should have a somewhat good time then.
how was intolerance? all i've seen of d.w. griffith's work is broken blossoms
It was surprisingly interesting, especially Act II. It has four stories total, including the "Modern" story, the "Babylonian" story, the "Judean" story, and the "French" story. Most of the focus is on the "Modern and "Babylonian" story which is good as they are in my opinion the most interesting.
There are some fight scenes which are surprisingly well done for 1916 I must say. Also there are some moments where the music fits the scene so well that the suspense builds up a lot as you can't hear what the actors are saying and I can honestly see why this is hailed as one of the best silent films.
The next National Film Registry film I am watching is...The Treasure of the Sierra Madre! Being one of the first films to film on location I am quite eager to watch this one.
Well that sucks. I am glad to see Levine is still going to make games.
This thing is usually for the Collab forum. There you can meet musicians, animators, and more to help with this project.
I dislike most of Lady Gaga's music but find "Applause" to be catch as all hell.
I've never seen any of the Godfather films.
I enjoy Jazz music from time to time.
Congrats to the winners!

My personal favorite resource is the They Shoot Pictures Don't They 1,000 Greatest Films list. Obviously no list can be perfect but I've found that this one has a pretty great variety of countries, eras and genres.
That's a nice list. I will definitely keep that bookmarked! Also I finished Intolerance. It is a slight bore for the first hour but after that I got caught up in two of the stories real quick.

I've never heard the term Grungies used before. Is that a thing?

I had not heard of this game but after checking out the Greenlight page I'm going to follow this. Looks pretty cool.
I forgot about this club as well. I'll drop a shirt in while I'm here. Art credit to Lawrence Atkinson.
