I like doing photoshop though because having touch isn't as much of a requirement, and whenever you fuck up, you can just press Ctrl+Alt+Z and it never happened.

i always use that in drawings, its a godsend, god bless photoshop for drawing

if its any consolation i liked yours, but the others were more pleasing to the eyes, yours had the lol factor

im always either too busy, or forget about the deadline for these, but i will participate at some point, depending on the theme

no, gradients are only good in certain selections, dont stick a gradient over the whole thing, go look up some vector art and youll see what i mean, each piece of shading is one small selection with a gradient

im sure mindchamber and most other people use opacity in photoshop for shading, it takes a while and a whole load of practice but youll get there eventually, tutorials always help with this kind of thing, but depends if you want realistic or cel shading

I would have to disagree, the black in it's "fur" pattern suggest it would be a fire/dark type. Think Houndour, but as a starter and defensive

i cant help but look at these and see other pokemon, pig one = spoink/grumpig
the grass one is essentially a treecko, and the water ones pretty generic, they havent really changed much for these, they better step it up for the evolutions
