Also, Make sure to get your games ready for submission by Dec 31st to the Armor Games Challenge. Even if you decide to enter the 'Max Games' contest, there is still going to be a flood of AMAZING games the last week of December, so either way make sure set your homepage to Newgrounds and hit refresh every every couple of minutes.

I like your post about building NG from the ground up. That's hard to find now a days, with almost every new site taking money from VC. (Even Kongregate took a 1 Million round of funding)

Yes you may ship the prizes and cash to someone who lives within the US. You could even ship the prizes (Xbox Elite, Guitar Hero 2) to your friend, and then have the cash prize sent to you.

Welcome to the Newgrounds/ArmorGames Rock Out Flash contest! After the previous gaming challenges, we thought we'd add a new theme and are now calling all Flashers to a unique challenge and over $17,000 in prizes!

The Top-10 Games WILL ALL receive the following prize packet:

1.) Xbox 360 Elite
2.) Guitar Hero 2 for Xbox 360 w/ Extra Guitar
3.) $1000 in Cash
(Total Prize valued @ $1,750)

Contest Rules and Game Guidelines
1.) Create a NEW unique flash game or a NEW unique sequel that ROCKS. The theme is 'Rock n' Roll' and inspiration should come from game titles which have already raised the bar on what a successful music inspired game should be like.
**Great examples include: Guitar Hero 2, Elite Beat Agents, DDR, Knights of Rock (by Jmtb02), etc.
**Your game must original, and should not infringe on copyrights.

2.) Include the 'Rock Out' flash intro animation provided by Newgrounds.com (Will be posted on the contest page prior to June 1st)

3.) 3.) Include both a Newgrounds and ArmorGames Mini-Banner on the main title Menu. These should banners should link back to 'ArmorGames.com' and 'Newgrounds.com'.

I'm helping the flash artist by giving you a few sponsors to choose from. I'd recommend going with the best sponsor for two reasons.

1.) You get more money. =)
2.) Your game gets more exposure

If there's something I'm unable to sponsor, I know the guys who run RustyGames and they are very trust worthy and honest. I highly recommend them and respect them as sponsors as well.
