Today my mailman (who, coincidentally, looks a lot like Wade) picked up my little yellow envelope. IT HAS BUBBLE WRAP N SHIT on the inside, so it ought to hold up well. I'm so excited to be part of this :D

I've been neglecting to check up on this thread and so I never knew you finished. It looks really great. I used to do clay sculpting quite a lot back when I was into stop motion, but I haven't even picked up the sculpey in years. I ought to try it again some time.

A-bot would be amazing. What you SHOULD do is work it out so he works like a combination of the NGAP Radio and the A-bot from the Audio portal. you could work it out so he plays music from the AP and have some bigass speakers hooked up to him. Maybe make a little Darnell to stand next to him. THIS COULD BE REALLY AWESOME

Guys, it's not supposed to be a shadow at all. Half his face is black and the other half is a skull. It's an all right drawing-- but stay away from gradients unless you can use them well.

i sketched this little fellow blowing up all these other little fellows with his magic smoke. It kindof gave me an idea for a little flash game where you ran about and blew enemies up in a variety of extremely pretty ways. idk

Why is the size limit for images 150 kb? That's tiny, especially considering we can go up to 599x700. I can't even upload a picture this simple at flash's highest-quality export setting.

Why do people think there will be sprites for these things? Killer 7 is a 3D game. Even if someone bothered to make full 2D sprites for each character, I doubt they'd release them for free use.

It might not have been the "anime style," it was probably how poorly drawn it was, judging by what you've posted. I don't know what the assignment was, but if I was a teacher and you turned that in, I'd give you a D too :/

I loved this game so much. I played a demo of it on a disc of demo games we had when I was little. A 3/4ths overhead view shooter where you play as a little spaceship fighting some other ships for reasons I was never quite sure of. More information, screenshots, etc. I'd really love to play this game in full, and relive my fond memories of it. If anyone can point me in the direction of either a free download or somewhere I can buy the game, I'd be so, so happy.

Has anyone else ever heard of it or played it? Regrettably, this is the biggest screenshot I could find.

How did this shit of a thread come to be shat out in the Flash Forum? There is no original work here. It consists entirely of either badly recolored images or just images with no modifications at all, and despite the OP's claim that he doesn't want art, just suggestions, he's going to add all these to his flash, which also probably consists of sprites he didn't make. >:C

Oh shut up. There's no way, NO DAMN WAY, you can tell me this isn't madness influenced. A few graphics seem flat-out traced or ripped from the movies, the color scheme is exactly the same, and you're using the exact same kind of side-scrolling format. No way you can tell me you came up with all of this on your own. If you're going to rip someone else's ideas, at least give them credit for it. Yeesh.

It won't happen "suddenly." It's not as if some Arab will walk over to his oil well and realize "BY ALLAH MY OIL IS GONE! GLOBAL ENERGY CRISIS!" Oil will slowly deplete, wells will run dry around the globe, and by the time it's almost "gone" it'll be so prohibitively expensive that no one will be able to afford it anyway. There'll be plenty of time to work out alternative solutions, but no one will have a motive to do so until the oil's almost gone anyway.
