Well, I pretty much exploded with joy.

All I can say is thanks a ton, Tom. I promise I'll actually start making shit and stop disappointing everyone. I've been practicing my drawing for the last week or so, and I'm going to continue doing this for a few months. However, once I finish my practice, I'll get on doing stuff.

Thanks to Luis, and a handful of others for trying all this time to kick my ass into shape and to get me to make things. (I'm not naming all the rest because namedropping is gay.) I'm gonna finally start being serious about it now.

Oh, and thanks to everyone in this thread who congratulated me and said I deserved it. I hope I can someday make all of you guys proud too.

I think this movie is a fitting final overlooked gem, because it has never been frontpaged or put in a collection. It is of very good quality and hard work, and most of the effect tricks used in this flash have never been used before Sinitron used them. The flash also has a very high score of 4.27, which means it doesn't miss the top 50 by too many points, yet it is very overlooked.

holy shit that's awesome. i'd say more credit goes to nogfish. all i did was animate a bunch of the parts he gave me, but he was the one who started it in the first place and compiled it together in the end. not to mention he's leagues better than me. not only that, but redm did a great job on the song too, i think i've listened to it fully at least 50 times by now.

i'm incredibly happy nog brought me into it and i'm also incredibly happy we won something. it was a lot of fun to make and the prize money thing is badass. i say nogfish should get the certificate or trophy or whatever if there is one.

anyways i thought the mgs collab was ok. only like 2-3 parts made me laugh, and even more were really well animated but i think if it was narrowed down to what was graphically well done, there would be probably about 10-20 per collab and this would be easier to compile

i think i was actually talking to someone the other day about how the creators of these flashes were the best animators on newgrounds

that drawing would have been 80x more interesting if the creator made it in their own blood
