I was going for a kind of 70's movie poster. I think it turned out alright considering I have no idea how one looks.
Humans act based on what we've inherited as instincts and what we've learned. We can choose a new course of action than what we're "programmed" to by recognizing a pattern we've learned or heard about. At the end of the day we're instinct and learning.
Unless you believe in a soul, the day machines autonomously can override standard protocol and choose a different course of action based on what they've learned or heard they will also be instinct and learning. The same.
I believe strongly that they will pass the self consciousness test and look in a mirror and determine it's them that they see. In the end the only thing separating us will be whether they actually physically can feel feelings or only evaluate data, but at one point I think they'll have to be looked at as actual beings because they'll need all of this progress to be of real use in certain areas. Also humans will likely modify ourselves to where we resemble the machines as well.

I've been redesigning (sort of ) the site, so that it cleans up alot of the visual and becomes more streamlined and adaptable to mobile devices. For the sake of flexibility, I borrowed alot of the modules I designed for mobile and fit them into the full size to see how adaptable that sort of design would be... heres something.
I am masturbating furiously as we speak. I'd be browsing NG on the phone if that came to pass.
Who'd have imagined they'd live to see such a sight.
This really worked wonders already.
I think it's clearing up a little, I see green!
Yes, if people want to see them it's better that there's a place for them here than outside the site. Also, is it possible to add some kind of note that using your frontpage posts to advertise your YouTube is being a dick (and I will take several puppies hostage for every time it happens)?

Everyone was black on some level in Champloo. Everyone.
Spontaneously I can think of a few. How many series have you even watched, OP?
I think you should try everything once. If you then discover that you can't handle it and you'll only mess things up and forget everything every time, it's a waste of money. You should still show up and hang out with your friends for a while though, if people get too drunk you can just go home.
Because it's still the best.
Seriously, the alternative for the content is YouTube and I can't stand that place. They can't build it well enough to not want to change it two months later, the full Google package with their account policies and internet-ruining centralization, and the god awful "community". For the BBS specifically, I come once in a while when there's not much else to do.
Oh yes, Lucky Day Forever is definitely one of the best movies to hit Ng of all time.

Except there's plenty of weeaboo stuff here if you're willing to look for it.
Advertise on /a/, tons and tons of traffic and a board generally interested in animation. Also anything cheesy or trying too hard would not work.
Also for the few who seem concerned, 4chan is NOT the same as the 2007 version people have in their heads. There aren't hackers, there isn't child porn, there is hardly gore. You'll find both the dumbest and the smartest internet users on 4chan, and we already have the dumb kind here so there's nothing to lose. Go on /m/ for instance, and tell me if you see any of the things you imagined.

I enjoy pretty much everything Alva Noto's done, those are some really cool albums and I love the blend of distortion with the ambient tunes in those. It's a really awesome techy atmosphere. I haven't checked out Ryoji Ikeda yet so thanks for the tip!
I have a folder with stuff that isn't available on Spotify, which isn't so large because most things find their way on there nowadays, but I have about a shit ton of artists all in all. I listen to just about everything, but I tend to drift towards post-rock and shoegaze, and singer/songwriters.
Some of my favorites recently are Kinoko Teikoku and Tokyo Shoegazer. Some of my all time favorites albums are Nightdrive by Chromatics, My Bloody Valentine's Loveless and Nick Drake's Pink Moon. Also ambientish minimal electronic music with piano that Alva Noto did with Ryuchi Sakamoto. Fuck I'm rambling.

I got 3TB for like $160, so if you're going for less space there are most likely some very cheap ones out there.
We live in industrial countries with a roof over our heads and never any great risk of starvation, war or inhuman working conditions. Everyone ITT has won and gotten the high score.
I know man, I know. I bought a 3TB external drive recently to be able to support my flash and my hoarding.
It's a great idea to try to promote NG through the channels available, though I worry a bit about the crowd that may come. I've noted the NG crowd getting better this year (I can view the review section without crying), so I hope it only contributes. We really had YouTube-tier stuff there for a while.
I think I cut myself on the edge of your text. I also hear absolutely nothing but the occasional cat or bird strolling by my basement window.

Is that really all true? I'm not sure Google would forward gore porn ads, or porn ads at all. They clean up lots.
Nah, man that's just Google figuring you out. Use another search engine and use a mobile IP or a proxy or something. Also use a browser that lets you go into deep settings and prevent it from sending any information, I know you can do this with Opera at least.
Dudes don't have them, so they become one of the symbols of the female body. Also as soon as religion started practicing the kind of shame culture and sex phobia that was used to keep the poor in place, breaking the joy of the most basic desires is probably the smartest thing to do. (Believe in religion or not, I won't get into that, but it is a fact that it was used like that in the dark ages.)
