I suppose some could. But not yours.

Also, the ice and "going through walls" power-up were already done in Super Mario Galaxy.

Never played it, but touche' regardless.

Anyway, I never liked all the superfluous power-ups. Fire, and flying were all I really needed. What I said, however, was just a stupid attempt at a polite way of saying that those weren't very good ideas.

Increasing the difficulty would defeat the purpose of the games. One of the things that made the SMB games so great was their accessibility. If they were ever to become more difficult they would start to scare away it's more casual audience.

Also, those power-ups are unneeded. Simplicity is best for Mario and it's audience as I previously mentioned. Simply put, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But seriously, I prefer Jules' version. First heard it in Donnie Darko and it blew me away.

Albert Hamilton Fish (May 19, 1870 - January 16, 1936) was an American sado-masochistic pedophile, torture murderer, serial killer and cannibal.

Sounds like a classy kind of guy.

I would burn that shit, and deny that it ever existed. That is too much power for one person to have. Sure, the shinigami would be pissed I burned his Death Note, but that's what he gets for thinking it's fun fucking with natural order of life and death.

Anyways, back to the plotting! I think taking out Robin is a good start, but I say we really pull the rug out from under him; let's go after that incorrigible Commissioner Gordon as well!

The odds of any apocalyptic fuck-up occurring with LHC is so low that even if it were to happen, we would most likely all be long dead when it did. So please be quiet TC, and quit trying to fill our heads with doom saying mumbo-jumbo.

Oh about discounting who got people who got their info from Wikipedia; the LHC article is swimming in citations from scientific journals, CERN, and news articles, so saying it's bullshit because it's on Wikipedia is bullshit at this point.

Probably because we typically view women as more vulnerable, and when they're thrown into a horrifying situation like that, we connect with them more and worry more about their safety than we would with, say, a beefy, heavily-armed special forces agent.

In the most recent issue of EGM, there was an interview with Hideki Kamiya, the creator of Devil May Cry and upcoming game Bayonetta. In it, he mentioned that games with female leads have been hard to sell in the past. When I read this, I realized I couldn't think of many games I've enjoyed. Do you have any games that you are particularly fond of that have female main characters?

Two standout games I can think of, though, are the games Rule of Rose and Haunting Ground. Both are horror games, and have several things in common (a girl brought into a strange setting with little to no way to defend herself, her only companion being a dog). Both were excellent games, with Rule of Rose's highlight being it's creepy, tragic storyline and atmosphere, while Haunting Ground did a fantastic job a scaring you and making you feel uneasy the entire time you're playing.

The closest I've ever gotten to 1st class getting traded up to business class on a flight. It was on a flight from San Francisco to Japan, and it was the best flying experience I ever had.

It almost made up for being stuck San Francisco for three days with little to no cash after being fucked over by the airlines.

You play as Travis Touchdown, an otaku-turned-assassin who before the start of the game, killed the 11th best hitman with a beam katana he won on a online auction. You spend the game trying to kill the top 10 assassins above you to become the best.

The gameplay can be divided into two parts: the assassin missions and the process of gathering up the money needed for said missions. The latter is done by driving around Santa Destroy (Travis' town) on your super-powered motorcycle and finding missions to earn you cash for assassin fights, videos, clothes, etc. These mission range from oddjobs like lawn mowing and litter gathering, to hit jobs. Most of them are pretty entertaining for at least the first time or so, simply because they all utilize the motion sensor in one way or another.

The combat is simple, but enjoyable. It's great fun tearing through a group of enemies and making them explode into clouds of blood (or pixels, if you're not in America). The actual assassins are intriguing characters, and include the likes of evil superheroes, corrupt vice cops, and bat-wielding lolitas, and their battles are the highlight of the game.

I'm a massive fan of the game, and I recommend to you if like old-school fun and bloody, hyper-stylized ultraviolence.
