Jonny wasn't talking about the Art Portal, though. The Art Portal and the Art Forum are two separate entities, with the only real connection between the two being the users themselves. The stated purpose of this thread is the same as the Forum itself. I'm not saying this thread was a bad idea, but having a thread in the Forum that serves the same purpose as the Forum is more than a bit redundant.

Also, four people aren't "most people." Unless, of course, Newground's user base suddenly became you, me, and five other people. =P

Yea, that was my fault, I totally read that wrong, bad typo. But yes, I totally understand the purpose of both the Art Portal and the Art Forum. But I guess you can see this as like a more condensed environment. It seems so far some people are starting to like the idea. I've even proposed this idea to other users before I posted this and they seemed to like this idea as well (refers to what i meant as "most people") But you're right, this isn't most of Newgrounds. My mistake. Well I don't expect this to be very popular anyways, and I won't hope for the worst either, but I'll let people be and leave it to them to decide the fate of this thread. Critique would be nice.

I like the shading, overall character design seems pretty nice. I'd say maybe have more defining features for the eyes, nose, and mouth. But if you want a cartoony look, you can still define the features more but not entirely too much where it's like realistic. I'm sure you've watched cartoons look at various facial features and you should come up with something, hope this helped, overall it's not bad.

Another old random sketch, I believe I saw this in a dream. It was very bizarre I didn't remember it for long as soon as I woke up, so this is what came out.

A lot of my sketches are old and were done on my iPad, most of these were before I started to develop a passion for drawing again.

If you don't feel your artwork is good enough for the art portal or don't know where else to post your work, then The Sketch Portal is the place for you. Here you may post your artwork for the public to see and critique. Hell you may be new and get noticed right away then continue posting on the almighty Art Portal. But if you would like to just show some of your work, just for fun, no critiques, just a nice simple sketch, that's fine too. But just a few rules. P.S. I too will occasionally post my own sketches (It was the main purpose of this, before I made it for everyone), but I never said they would be good sketches.

Wow dude, these look nice, even in its simplest form! I'm not very good at being creative or concepting things, but I'm working at it, hopefully I can randomly come up with good ideas in like 2 minutes. but I like the goat man sketches, and that weird creature sculpting those are pretty cool, looking forward to seeing great work from you man :D

Awesome dude, I'm kind of new to the digital stuff too, but I lack a good laptop or mac, so i can't really use my programs or my wacom bamboo (I also have one). So for now I'm stuck with my tablet and Photoshop which works great. But anyways that sucks you're having uploading issues :/ but I'll check out your thread I'm very interested in what you have.

That's a very interesting review. I much appreciate the criticism, it is very much different from what other people told me. But these are confirmed and final results of my clients, most pick the color and sometimes the designs, if they have preferences. But I will read that article you suggested, it sounds interesting. So again thanks for the review, I very much appreciate your time.
