i like the effect of hte white line, i see how it could be distorting, but i think you should run with that maybe make it so the slime monster is in a dark cave and have the light represent a glow effect on the slime maybe from whatever its presumab ly going to attack (say lava or some sort of glowing chrystal on a person?

page 8 and now i am off to enjoy a few hours before work have fun... and feel free to hate the art work lol, if anything sometimes its good to hate the art of something you see or study or read, it adds to the emotion, and backdrop/background of emotion, which builds the story up in a unique feel/way. Feel that emotion, Yea! .... need more !!!!!!!!! maybe a few ?????? just for confusion too :/

this is just a rough draft of a comic im drawing for fun, if you like it thats fantastic, if you hate it that is understandable as well... its not going to be improved alot so if you cant stand seeing the images thats fine but if you give it a shot you might atleast enjoy the story, and perhaps have a laugh or two as well, it is the primary reason i made this account to share something like this, and i thought why not so i started this a couple days ago and im gona try to get it finished before i get distracted by life again or bills or who knows what :/ ...maybe a giant flying whale/dolphin battle in space or some sort of sorcerer wolf dogs fighting above cities in the air :/

Response to: A few Sketches (before & after) Posted August 6th, 2013 in Art

ok before you go on your flight... oh and fyi im new far from the best advice i lack the patience/hand eye coordination for most humanesque figures, that said you might have fun if you opened up garrys mod (free version) and played with the skeletons of props in it, they have a really good system for the joints in arms/legs and might help you get a feel for how to bend/draw benidng limbs... umm... you could also give a go at drawing skeletons, but instead of drawing the full skeleton, just draw the skull a few times, create a pile of just single bones, well... like a full hand maybe skeletized, full arm section... i hate drawing hands but doing skeleton hand drawing will give you a better feel for the individual joints/bones and the skeleton/skull drawing will also give you alot to work with... it will look very creepy... but just print out some anatomy pages of skeletons/human poses to bring with you.... the most agrevating part .. well difficult to adjust to is geting the right amount of curve vs straigt in drawing arms, because we tend to draw more cartoonish style where the whole arm bends in a positio rather then the upper arm bone and lower arm bone both staying shaped the same only moving because of the elbow, you might want to work on drawing hte elbow too..... the legs you could not worry about for now... but if you master bending hte arms right and drawing hte skull it will give you alot of power... personally i loved the first two darwings you did, especialy the doll, i thought that was impressive how you did that from lilned paper to just edited all the colors in so cleanly... and to me it looked very right, like something you would expect in a animated film... maybe my standards are off... but i dont think so in this case... i really loved how you did, sometimes realiism is good and sometimes a bit of... expression in how something is drawn to carry emotion is better, atleast it seems that way for manga/comics since thier a visual art as much as a verbal
