Considering the disparate styles the eggs are being drawn in, I am rather curious as to how you expect to be able to animate them opening.

I just checked out the first episode of Ouran High School Host Club.

It was adorable, and reasonably funny. I'm not sure how it's going to keep it up, though.

I'm guessing it's supposed to be some sort of parody of shoujo or something? I've only really encountered those tropes in parodies, though, since I don't read or watch shoujo manga.

Top left is a duck that thinks he's way too cool. Top right is a Vexo or something like that. I don't know the username of the guy whose character it is, but maybe you'll recognise it. Bottom is MissAllenPoe, a user on General aka Shauna I think, as a hard-boiled 1930s Private Dick.

You're lucky if your local libraries even carry the stuff anymore. There have been crusades in several countries (e.g. the US and UK) to get manga out of public libraries and keep it out (and to make matters worse, my MOTHER was a part of this movement).
