Oh my god.
I am so going to become a neurosurgeon.
And I am totally going to secretly implant that chip into people's brains. And give myself the remote.
Talking to a girl (or guy)? Bam. Giving a presentation? Bam. Pleading your case in court? Bam. Addressing the nation? Bam.

A little cliche? I'm fairly certain in the amount I watched there wasn't a single joke I hadn't already heard before, and hated.
Characters being loud and annoying, people hitting each other for next to no reason, ridiculously exagerated facial expressions, and female nudity aren't things I find funny.
But the point I think you guys are missing is the comedy of the show isn't it's selling point. It's the stellar production quality. It just has that new anime smell to it. The fight scenes aren't bogged down by monologues and most battles last only 5 minutes, not 5 episodes.
I did sit down and watch like five episodes of it (I need more things to do), so I'm not dismissing it based on the comedy.
I enjoy the action and that's what keeping me watching. The comedy is just the thing that's trying as hard as possible to stop me watching it.
It's a great anime and giving grief over your poor sense of humor I think doesn't serve the show justice.
Poor sense of humour?
I'm sorry that I'm not twelve years old anymore, but that doesn't mean that my sense of humour is poor.

The style and action are all there, but it's full of that typical anime humour that really pisses me off. It would be a great show, but I hate all the pointless shouting and humour that only fourteen-year-olds would find funny.
I watched a few more episodes and while I still think the humour is annoying (especially that loud blue haired character), the action makes up for it.
And, at the very least, I thought Dr. Frankenstein was funny.
They're just like people.
Only furry.
And with animal heads.

Yes.
If you read game reviews often you'll find that most reviewers almost never give a game less than a 6.
A truly terrible game might get a 4.
I wouldn't name my kid Fagballs McCuntface.

A 6 or 7 is a bad score in terms of most video game reviews. Have you not heard of the 6-10 rating system that reviewers use?
If a game unanimously gets less than 7/10 from reviewers, I probably won't buy it. Games aren't cheap enough for me to take risks.

DAMMIT FRED, DON'T YOU DIE ON ME.
THINK OF YOUR WIFE AND CHILDREN.
All I know about the differences is my PS3 can connect to my wireless out of the box, and my Xbox 360 is just sitting there without any internet connection.

Well if that's what you're wanting, here's an attempt.
I dunno.
That rhyme is uh, kinda sexist.

The definition of an 'anime' as it pertains to animation (in Western countries) is an animation made in Japan. It's not a description of a particular style, or a particular set of themes.
Every animation that is made inside of Japan is an 'anime' and no animation that is made outside of Japan is an 'anime'. Unless you're speaking in Japanese in which every animation is an 'anime'.

Biff.
I checked out this Soul Eater that people were talking about.
I quite like the style, and the action's quite good.
But god. The humour is awful. Most of the dialogue in the first episode is about breasts and nosebleeds. And most of the character interactions involve one hitting another.

To be fair, the first game skipped a reasonable few days after the opening sequence. People could have mentioned the hair thing during the time skip. And during the opening sequence Zeke had other things to worry about than Cole's hair.
And the first game takes place over two or three weeks. The electricity powers may have healed his throat cancer after a few more weeks.
Regarding the tattoos, he had a long sleeved jacket on for the first game. Maybe he had them the whole time.
I enjoyed Donnie Darko when I watched it, but I never thought it was particularly deep.
I was quite young at the time when I watched it, though, and I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much now after having seen better mind fuck films.
