Anyone want to take bets as to who gets cast and how bad they're gonna suck?
And whether or not they censor it into oblivion?
What on Earth is there to censor in K-On!?
Though I have only watched the first season. Maybe in the second season it devolves into hardcore pornography.
As a side note, it's very difficult to have the title of 'K-On!' at the end of a sentence without sounding like you're shouting.
It's good that he can admit that he's wrong to some degree, but he still says he holds his uninformed opinion.
I think a big problem with Roger Ebert's reasons for discounting video games as a viable art medium is that basically the only reason he gives is that they're not like movies.
He says that being able to influence the narrative means that they can't be 'art', because you're not able to influence the narrative in other forms of art. He's holding a definition of 'art' that was created before video games existed and thus could not account for them.
Films don't allow for interactivity because they can't allow for interactivity, not because it would lessen their artistic impact.
Video games are video games and should be judged on their own terms.

Sure. Just post things related to the topic of 'anime'.
The song is called "Purple Flurp Boogie", and it's played by The Candy Bar Gang.
That was a lie. I have no idea why you thought anybody would be able to tell you this.

I was worried about that. Oh well, here's another attempt, now that that picture doesn't even go with the poem.
I actually support the idea of a game starring Zelda.
Just like the other LoZ games, only Zelda is the character you control. Just to mix things up a bit.
I guess you could save Link?
Or maybe some sort of character switching mechanic where you can play as both Link and Zelda. Like in Super Paper Mario.
For some reason I forgot what website I was on when opening this thread.
I thought it was going to be 'favourite film that is a character study on a female'.
I wouldn't have any problem with it, because I am not a racist.

Are you just trying to fuck with my mind?
I'm fairly certain that there is no pun in that sentence, but I still keep looking for one.
Of course not.
It could potentially make you sound older, but it could never make you sound mature.
A man that hasn't played a video game in his life has no business making a comment on the medium's artistic merit as a whole.
His whole argument was based around a large number of misconceptions about both the medium, and the specific video games he was commenting on.

I say pick the one that I did a picture for.

Blah.
I tried to be all original and shit with the theme, but then I realised that I was neither being original, nor drawing well.

It's not much of a collaboration if it's just me doing the art.

Are you kidding me?
I thought the new Kirby game was by far the most interesting game shown at Nintendo's converence.
It looks great.
Okay wow.
I have to hand it to Soul Eater.
If there was ever a show that I was not expecting to be referenced in a shonen anime it was Twin Peaks.

However, it should be proof that the majority of the office did, and this idea contradicts the "hive mind" statement made in the OP.
I'm going to take it as proof that four years ago a bunch of IGN editors didn't like God Hand.
Which isn't any different from the general populace. A lot of people didn't like God Hand.
It's not any evidence that these editors would have given the game a 3.0. Perhaps their distain translated into a 6.5.

Or rather,
Joshua Clark has a higher opinion of Imagine: Party Babyz than what Lucas M. Thomas's opinion of Street Fighter II: Special Champion Edition is. Assuming that they both have the exact same opinion of what a 7.5 and a 7.0 constitute in terms of the quality of a game.
I haven't played Imagine: Party Babyz, and apparently no critics other than Joshua Clark have so I really can't form an opinion of it.
Oh my god, I want it so much.
About four years ago, Clover Studios released a game that was to become a cult classic: God Hand. This game didn't receive good reviews by any means, but there was one review in particular that earned the ire of fans.
IGN.com gave God hand a 3.0.
Even now, four years later, people are using this review as a reason to hate popular gaming news and review website IGN.com. I see this all too often on Newgrounds
And this is just a little ridiculous.
A review is a description of the opinion of the reviewer. IGN employs a lot of editors, and only one reviewed that game. IGN is not a hive mind.
But what makes it particularly bizarre that this is still a complaint is something that happened in March 2010.
In March 2010 Chris Roper, the editor who wrote the God Hand review, got laid off. He no longer works at IGN. People complaining about the God Hand review are complaining about the four year old opinion of a guy that doesn't even work at IGN.
I'm not saying that IGN isn't worthy of any dislike. I'm just saying you guys need to find something new to hate the website for.

I can play that video as many times as I want.
