at long last it seems the frog is on his way to obscurity. I saw it coming when he managed to talk better artists into doing all his work for him.
take a look at the Top 50. he used to have a few movies listed. now his movies have fallen off and the co-authored movies remain. movies like Final Fantasy: About Random Battles was animated by another artist, super flash bros. read the reviews and you'll see that the audience (lf toadies) only recognizes legendary frog as the artist who made the movie.
the matrix has you is an example of just how bad legendary frog stacks up to mediocre artists. his part was hailed as the worst of the group of movies, though I think there were quite a few bad ones that measured up to his. again super flash bros save the day in that movie. no wonder their work on decline of video gaming is higher ranked than their frog-written matrix or final fantasy counterparts.
gone are the crapfests of all your pie, zelda video, and kerrigan and the frog. the crap is being flushed and the little pieces of feces always take longest to go down the drain but rest assured the frog movies on the top 50 will follow. except for that brainrotting chocobo mix which will forever clog up the toilet that is the top 50.
but why are his movies dying? maybe because the last of the matrix and lord of the rings movies have been made. one ring 3 should be the last of his regurgetated "parodies." but there's still a lot of pop culture to borrow from. as long as there are popular video games and movies he should have enough material to recycle to make movies. perhaps he's gotten lazier. maybe the audience is just sick of seeing some video game character eat a muffin and quote the simpsons.
whatever the reason I've charted the frogs movies and they are going down fast and there's nothing his diminshing fanbase of toadies can do about it. usher in the new wave of final fantasy movies obviously there are artists that do it better than he can (8-bit d&d and final fantasy A+). the hard working artists who actually know how to draw and animate are still going to be overlooked and the sprites and movie parodies are going to be in the spotlight. bye frog, you wont be missed.
