None of the bad comments have really bothered me. especially since even the bad comments say they liked the look of it.

I am just wondering if the newgrounds community is even into this kind of stuff, I mean you can't please everyone. I understand that.

I have been posting animations on newgrounds for years and I plan to do so for years to come. So nothing said here will change that.

I recently posted a Black History Music Video I did for Master P and Romeo to the portal.
Overall I got a decent rating and great comments. (which I am always grateful for)

However a lot of the comments seemed to be not on the actual animation but its content.

People who gave me low scores seemed to agree that the animation was done well, But the fact that it was about Black History and it was a Rap music video seemed to bother some people.

I have always used African American characters in my work and a bit of rap, so this is not the first time I have heard these complaints.

My question is, How does the majority really feel about this?
Is the Newgrounds community against Rap and African American characters?
or is this just a few jokers?

In the video cartoon versions of Master P and Romeo present their homework assignment on African American heritage to the classroom and viewing audience. Read along with the lyrics in the video and discover the true reason for Black History month.

"I wanted to make this song into a cartoon also so that it can reach kids. It's entertaining and is a fun way to learn about our heritage," said Master P.

Master P also acknowledged the two animators responsible for the cartoon, Olatokunbo "Ola" Betiku, and Ryan Hutchinson. "Having Ola and Ryan on the team has been great because they're specialists in graphic art. They have great imaginations."

Additionally, Master P will be releasing children's books, coloring books, and other educational resources as part of his Take A Stand initiative. Already, teachers and educators have been contacting him to say they will be using the video in classroom lessons.

On his reasons behind the positive hip-hop video, Master P said, "I changed my life and I want to see our kids be able to grow and prosper. I'm doing this video because it's the RIGHT thing to do and it's more important to do what's right than what others necessarily want you to do or think you should do. This isn't about money - this is bigger than money. To be honest, I don't even have an outlet for this video. Black History Month is a special time for us to reflect and acknowledge how far we have come and how far we can still go. It only takes one person to make a difference. Put down the gun, stop the violence, it's time to educate our youth so they can be better than us. Let the kids grow."

You do know that this, won't be taken seriosly, you'll end up just like the potal is, with more crap then actually good movies. Besides, even beginners can make good movies as long as they try hard enough.

Well yes some are crap, but some are made by people just starting out, and I always thought there should be a catagory for beginners, So I am starting one on my site

the average stick fight toon is small, I plan to expand as I get more submissions, but I dont see these flash file being to large at first. Most blammed animations are blammed for being small or without music or just for being pointless and ugly.
