One of my favorite things about newgrounds is the idiocy and hypocrisy of it's users, they will blindly stand by their opinions that "spam movies" are evil and talentless and then turn around and praise work by people who are spammers! One of my absolute favorite instances of this is when you meet a Wonchop-fanboy who absolutely despises all Flash Crews, and they will flat-out refuse to believe you that Wonchop was at one point known as Cloud Lock. The Lock Legion. Yes a spam crew. Now personal sentiments about wonchops work aside, this is a great example of a "stupid talentless faggot spammer" <-(Ng's words not mine) who is absolutely adored and loved for his flash movies as soon as he drops the "spam" facade.

Spamming begets talent and I whole-heartedly agree that the best "spammers" have talent as artists, animators, designers, or the very least organizers and/or comedians. I think 100% that it is necessary to take the importance out of the portal by "spamming". People shouldn't be treating spam movies like it is a life or death situation as they seem to do, and they shouldn't automatically berate spammers as talentless.

This may seem to be backwards logic however I mean, the main and number 1 reason to submit a bad movie is to piss people off by not putting effort into your movie, so why should someone who does that all the time command respect as an artist? Well to me you should look beyond that.

I was finishing the sentence my friend had started before his reply got delete apparently. He had said simply "get OUT" and so I added my 2 cents to it. Sprites are not art and do not deserve praise. This is an opinion, but it is the type of opinion that should be considered fact more than it currently is. Anyone who is an artist should not use sprites that are not there creations, I love sprites I love the sprite look, but not ones that are just plainly ripped form shyguykingdom and shit.

I am not sure for I do not spend my days worrying about the words of some person on the ngbbs but if iscrulz is against SMBZ then I support him full well.

I do however hold the reservation that it is Newgrounds. What I mean by that is the following;
1.) I do not place the importance of the Portal or any movies therein above things I consider to be truly important, such as my happiness or other peoples happiness, my health and my familys good fortune, going to school and getting my diploma so i can go to college, you know typical things that are actually important in real life.

2.) It is everything by everyone, I use that motto to defend the Spam I submit on my Arushi account, and therefore to remain un-hypocritical I defend movies I do not like being on the portal such as SMBZ. It is, everything, by everyone, I do not care because to me that is the #1 Golden rule for a "Producer" on this site (such as myself).

3.) No matter how much I hate SMBZ it will not simply die because of my hatred, and it also brings joy to many People so therefore I do not necessarily take it to heart when utter bullshit like it is submitted and gets such high praise.

I was merely voicing an opinion on the bad quality of the work, the bad animation (what do you expect from sprites), the originality that comes from mixing DBZ and Mario (I was mixing shit like this on paper doodles back in like 4th grade as were 1000's of other kids. It does not need to be horribly animated to become a reality), The further degradation of the quality of work on this site by introducing really bad art to it and propelling it into "Flash Portal Super-Stardom" by using STOLEN work (the sprites themselves were not 100% hand crafter by Earthworm), and even his non-sprite artwork is not great. Though he has a shred of talent he should use his freetime to animate original hand-drawn characters.

However above all else this is merely opinions and conjecture. I do not seek to ruin the franchise or anyone who enjoys watching it I just believe it is shit and should not be getting millions of views and shit. Not from jealousy but from a purely artistic and speculative standpoint, I do not condone stealing shit and slapping it together with some shoddy tweens and calling it a masterpiece. To me it is utter. Bullshit.

You can't start a Blam Club (against NG rules), least of all on the NGBBS, if you wanted to do that you'd have to go make your own forums and organize there and even then you probably wouldn't accomplish much to be honest. You'd have to get a ton of people, on the scale of at least 50 or more, and then you would have to make sure you all are online at the same times which is difficult to say the least considering different time-zones, people having actual lives to attend to and such. And then, you would have to wait until Afro submitted one of his new movies, or some knockoff submitted their knockoff movie, and then you would all have to vote 0 on it a.s.a.p so essentially it is nearly impossible to create and sustain a successfully functioning "Blam Club". But hey, go for it. Oh the other thing you may want to watch out for is if Afro decided to fight back, his profile stats and most of his friends stats are pretty much ridiculous, he is obviously friends with admins/mods on this site, etc. etc. Now I personally don't foresee any of this happening or anything I'm just saying that all of this is a possibility, I'm pretty much just spouting out gay ideas that may or may not come into fruition.

It is a self-correcting problem, someday soon enough the series will end and it's knock-offs will follow suit there are multiple ways this could come about including;

-Afro might wake up one day, look at his NG profile, look at his .fla library, and decide to hell with it and stop producing them (probably not but here's hoping).

-The admins could mass-wipe all the adolf hitler movies on his profile and all the knock-offs which would hopefully deter anyone from dreaming up submitting such a shitty series ever again (also probably not, but again, here's to hoping.)

-A successful blam/flag club get actually get off the ground and start stopping his movies from passing, hey they may not even get deleted by admins for being a blam crew! Once more, probably not, but here's to hoping.

-Other shit I don't care about dreaming up right now could happen.

Well tell your parents to stop downloading useless crap, start running anti-virus/spyware/malware/badware scans, and start taking better care of your PC. It's an investment more or less, not so much a toy. You could get the 30 day trial which would give you enough time (if used on a daily basis) to learn the most basic basics of flash so to speak. All in all it takes most people 6 months or longer to get anywhere capably good of making quality work depending on how accustomed they are to computer programs similar to flash/and their artistic abilities and what have you. Of course we all know how most people acquire the full version of Flash but I am almost 100% certain that discussion of such illegal activities is highly frowned upon on the NGBBS so we won't delve into that aspect. But yes you can buy an older version of Flash for cheap, and older versions are the same as the newer ones except for a few slight differences but hey you can still make really great work on them. A lot of really fun flash games are made on older versions of Flash just so you know.

Thanks, well I didn't save a .psd for whatever reason so the only thing I could do was make the picture bigger but since it isn't vector-based it can only go a little bit bigger before becoming unreadable due to pixellation. =(

well anyway maybe this bigger one can be a little bit easier on the eyes I hope... Too bad I didn't save the .psd though it could've been much higher quality but oh well.

I only bumped it so as not to create a new thread. Besides it's the art forum I think bumping is less of a crime here or something. I'll upload some of the stuff I have done in the past few months if I can find the files... Well crap I've mostly been doing movies not drawings.

The text is small but shouldn't be hard to read it's color coordinated somewhat. The image might be grainy due to the filesize constraints. Hope this helps somebody.
