I think that the CC is a spam crew, however, I think they make some really cool movies some of the time. A lot of them even get front paged. (Even though Tom, as a joke, puts real spammy stuff on the front page sometimes to read all the funny rants in the reviews) The CLock Crew has some really good Flash Authors that have a great talent in art, yet they still post s god spam to honor their almighty god StrawberryClock.

You can't think the CC is a spam crew, they are a spam crew. Hell they are the progenitor's of Spam Crews, not spammy movies themselves but entire Crews devoted to them yes. Yes tom does enjoy putting some "spammy" stuff on the frontpage but it's his site and they are usually funny movies so why not. Yes the CC members have talent, (as do most spam crews, they have members with talent), I don't agree they do it in honor of "their god SBC" because when you have a personal chat with a Clock they don't even give a shit about SBC or B, they just like submitting some funny movies. The CC doesn't even submit waves of spam anymore, most spam crews don't.

After I discovered the CC on Newgrounds, way back in may when I signed up, I also dscovered the KK, with their flashing lights and loud noises, and the SS, with their annoying Daily Days that have seemed to make it into the Portal History. I went about my normal nerdy 'life on Newgrounds' and then they started to really annoy me. So I wondered why they even passed in the first place. I then made this thread tat has provided many reasonable answers.

The SS dailytoons made their own collection because the SS showed dedication to the series, and they also showed that they have real talent especially if you look at their most famous members. Yes this thread has become a big part of Wi/Ht? And I'm sure your proud of yourself, but you don't make a lot of sense at most times. Especially when you say that you like the CC but not the SS. Now I understand full well that everyone has their own personal preferences but Jesus-fucking-christ the SS is just as good as the CC.

For example, I now know that the KK movies only pass becaue of the stat whores who vote 5 knowing they will get a free save point because a lot of other people do the same thing. Even so, they normally do not get scores higher than 2.50. I also know what other people think about the spam crews. Some like the spam crews because they are immature and/or just find it funny in their own strange way. They have even decided to post on this thread trying to lock it in any possible, such as posting gay dog anime porn and completley random pictures. (Yes I agree, I posted Cat Tank, but mine was the only one that was not deleted by the mods) While others have come to make reasonable, yet offensive, discussion. 50 is only considered with trying to piss people off.

Well at least you don't think they mass-vote every single movie they submit anymore. Besides the Kitty Krew is gay as shit and all of their movies suck what would you expect. A lot of people who posted offensive pics in this thread (like myself) only wanted to get it locked so that the gaY ASS DISCUSSION ABOUT SPAM would stop. I figure. Its not hurting anybody, the movies that go into the most recent list that need more coverage usually end up getting dailys or frontpaged, and if people want to see the best movies on NG, GEE LOOK AT THAT THERE IS A HUGE LIST OF THEM TWO COLUMNS OVER FROM THE MOST RECENT. Just let the people who spam have their fun, also a lot of people who spam today can become NG "Flash stars" tomorrow and if you don't believe me or know what I am talking about then you should do some research.

If people vote highly for protection points then why would you blame the spammers.
If people want to submit a subpar quality movie that is funny to them but maybe not to you, why do you have to get so angry at them. People have different sense of humor, and some peoples favorite movies are "spam".

Secondly, no no no. The turd was not deleted. It was just a glitch (that was corrected itself with the new week beginning.)

I can prove this, because I know what movie was turd that week, because I was co-authored onto it for a small while. here is the account of the turd holder of the last week, as you can see his account is still in-tact even though he has been locked out of his account by Wade due to the Mozz Day spamming. Also as you can plainly see from his trophies, the turd that he had that week, which was originally named "FUCK YOU @!@!@!@!@!@!@!@!@" Or something similar (the reason for Bob's news post), it got renmaed to "FUCK YOU" by bob, before finally being renamed to "Hi" by Zeebmork himself.

I just don't like seeing a thread full of people who don't know what is going on, and are merely conjecturing and speculating as to the problems. I knew the answers to this particular question and so I figured I would help you guys out.

You can't really win turd of the week unless you are in a spam group or the spam groups dont feel like stealing that award that week.

Even though most of the older spam groups have stopped caring about turd of the week, new spammers are new to it so they still like to win it, so they submit movies with a catchy title (usually it parodies a famous movie that has recently been submitted/or it has something along the lines of "random object+HENTAI XXX"). Then they wait till that passes judgement (which it does because they are spammers and have 100's of movies on their account, so people just vote 2 or higher for their prot. point) and once that happens they will downvote it throughout the week.

Just some info i've picked up on in my travels.
