Which unscripted, improvised, serendipitous, accidental, or impromptu movie scenes are the best? Do you think the actors behaved as different characters when they went off-script?

From the perspective of a person who has never used 4chan: That's a really poor and inapt description of Newgrounds. Filtering out stupid nonsense by voting or smart moderation policy has always been a huge part of NG, while 4chan just seems like a clusterfuck of shock humor and cheap jokes.

Let's recoup:

1. Be 16, prime of your life
2. Be walking home from a party
3. Guy claims you robbed him two weeks prior
4. Police arrest you on no evidence based on that claim
5. Judge sets your bails at $10,000
6. Family can't afford to pay $10,000 for absolutely nothing
7. Spend 3 years fighting for your life in a prison full of murderers, rapists, and sociopaths. You are put in solitary confinement for over 400 days, kept from continuing your high school education by crooked corrections officers, assaulted, starved, and treated like filth. You try to commit suicide six times to escape this hell.
8. Judge says you will be freed with time served if you plead guilty to a crime you did not commit
9. State frees you without an apology after three years and two weeks
10. People think you must have been guilty because you are black
11. You now have to try to readjust to a normal life after having three years stolen from you by the people who were supposed to be protecting you.

police kidnap student; jail 3 years Posted November 24th, 2013 in General

VIDEO

Kalief Browder was a 16-year-old high school student in 2010, walking home from a party, when he was kidnapped by police officers, charged with a crime he did not commit, and thrown in Rikers Prison for three years. In January 2013, after he had been imprisoned for nearly three years, a judge attempted to coerce him into pleading guilt to a crime he did not commit in exchange for his freedom.

In June of 2013 he was freed, charges were dropped, and he was allowed to get back to living his life.

ARTICLE

Millions of Americans are living in prison for crimes they did not commit.
Millions more are living in prison for crimes which should not be against the law.
Millions more walk free despite crimes they committed yet for which they could not be convicted, simply because they could afford a good lawyer.

Seasteading interests me.

Let's make a giant floating city that generates power from the ocean, the wind, and the sun.

We can start a project to get money from conservationists who want to clean up Smoky Mountain and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to build the base of our city using recycled raw materials. Then, we can use it as a base to extract gold from the oceans, work out way up to mining the ocean floor and providing a gambling pit stop for wealthy yachters.

It will never work and this plan is extremely flawed!

You would be met with strong opposition. It's heavily populated and most of the research bases are run by military personnel. You would need Google/The Academi/The Roman Catholic Church on your side.

Response to: we need a new country Posted November 23rd, 2013 in General

Where?

Greenland? Africa? Antarctica? Western Russia? Northern Canada?

Or maybe we should build some drills and pierce the mantle somewhere in the middle of an ocean, creating a new land mass.
Or we could terraform a nearby planet.
Or build a space station.

What kind of government are we going to use? What's our immigration policy? How do we run the economy?

I never pay 20 bucks just for one pizza from dominos. they're cheaper than that.

I worked as a driver for them a few years ago. Orders less than $20 are unusual, and the only way to get that price is by not tipping the driver, placing a carry-out order, or getting some type of discount. A large hand-tossed with pepperoni, delivered, will run you $15.61. Add in a tip between $3 and $20 (depending on how balla you is) and you're easily past $20.

If you're a broke rat, maybe you don't tip the driver. Then you're paying exactly $15.61, and you've got $4.39 in your pocket to pay for enough raw dough, sauce, cheese, and toppings to make half a dozen pizzas that week.

Yeah, I probably do. We both realized how incredibly shitty you must feel if you need to pretend to be some kind of "hacker genius" on Newgrounds for about a year (or was it longer than that?) and never talk straight.
