Game theory (am I doin dis rite)
If you are given the choice to refuse electricity or oil to a customer who can't pay a bill, when your service is necessary to keep them alive, you have several options:
• terminate service, customer dies or leaves your service unless you have monopoly
• terminate service, customer survives and returns to your service
• continue service, eat the debt until the customer pays you
• continue service, eat the debt and customer doesn't pay you
Don't you have a better chance of making a profit and winning a customer if you continue the service?

Amazon has 96 fulfillment centers worldwide, but they aren't all within range of metropolitan centers. They will probably start this delivery service only in places which have a FS within 30 minutes flight time of a densely populated area. I'm sure they have a game plan for expanding the service.
And they have to be human controlled. If not, how's the drone going to know where to land? Even if it recognizes your porch through Google Satellite it might clip a power line or tree branch trying to get to it.
They only have to be human controlled if the FAA says they do. Otherwise, it's entirely possible to use mapping data to avoid utilities and cameras to avoid collisions. I'm guessing that it's going to have you select a drop spot using an aerial map... But it wouldn't be impossible to create a system which finds a drop spot near your door.
And what about returning it? Do you remove your item(s), re-attach the box, and then press a button to start it? Even with complete instructions in several languages you know some would mess it up.
It automatically drops the package and goes home.
I think it's going to be longer than 5 years.
I think they could roll out out next week if the FAA let them.

That would clear you of anything lol. Not unlikely that someone could see it land at a house and take it.
They might be able to stick a few lines in the TOS which allow them to search your house for missing drones, or hold you liable for the cost of the drone no matter what.

1 - Standard shipping (5-7 days) FREE
2 - Drone shipping (30 minutes) $99.99
I don't think those multicopters could kill someone. Maybe if one lost power while in transit and then struck someone in the head there could be enough force to do damage. The props are lightweight carbonfiber and are more likely to bruise than cut skin, but Amazon could easily add a caging system to make them safer.
The cost for Drone Shipping will probably be a lot lower once all the kinks are worked out, but $100 isn't going to break the bank for most people who are in a rush.
There are probably only a handful of people who don't know that meme.

The first one is stopped by automatically charging your credit card the cost of the drone, which looks to be $400ish.
On the second, they'll probably have 360° cameras for avoidance and guidance that can be used to put someone in jail.
Otherwise it's just a matter of hoping 99.9% of people aren't destructive thieves.

That's interesting.
2. A combination of chopsticks, a fork, a knife, and a spoon, that could serve as all four. It would be two chopsticks with a spoon on one end and a fork on the end of the other, then the remaining sides would be serrated chopsticks that could serve as both chopsticks and knives. This could eliminate the production of all four separately, save tons of plastic, and save fast food restaurants lots of money. And also save bag space for campers.
They have these, for camping.
3. A remote controlled screen that goes on the back of bikes and displays turn signals. It would be remote-controlled and the remote controller would fit on the handle bars on the front of the bike.
They have these, but they're hard wired, and just LEDs. They have versions which sense upcoming turns using GPS and gyroscope statistics, too.
4. A soccer ball that glows in the dark at night, and is powered by kinetic energy. So it gains power from being kicked.

Obama demonstrated these in Africa recently. Except they're generator, not just light-up novelties.
5. A tent coated with solar panels that activates during the night.
Keeping the tent and solar array separate has more functionality. You can camp in shade and set up a collapsible solar array wherever it works best.

He had had 'had had had had' because had had is a subtle variation in tense that differs from had.

Maybe NG should have a comments section and a review section which are separate?

No it isn't. If it were debatable, you would debate it.
PBS is widely known for its daytime television aimed at toddlers, but they're also the producers and publishers of NOVA and other science series.
NPR provides radio shows which cover current events, local news, and intellectual topics.
Public media does this without bias, branding, marketing, and psychological imprinting, which cannot be said for a single one of its competitors.
